We enjoyed our tour to the Bazurto Market! It was absolutely essential to have a local guide for this experience. Kerbie was knowledgeable and helped us sample local pastries, fruit, smoothies and beer. My one piece of feedback is that, at times, he walked ahead of us and did not turn around to make sure we were still following. The market is crowded and easy to get separated!

Not for the faint of heart but an amazing experience

A wonderful authentic cultural experience! If you want to see how the working class shop and what they eat , it’s hard to beat this place. The crowds, the sights and especially the smells are something that if you are far acquainted with a third-country wet market, it can be overwhelming. However, you will be treated to an experience that is nothing like what the average tourist encounters. There was not a tourist in sight the entire time there.
