One-of-a-kind, amazing Colombian experience

BEST experience I've had in Colombia. When else do you get to feed macaws and parrots, visit aviaries, ride horses, eat home-cooked foods, pick and eat your own Colombian fruits (cashew fruit was a personal fav), and ride in a UTV to explore a 1200+acre property. I really appreciated them picking me up and dropping me off at my downtown hotel too.

Recommend for large group! Beautiful experience!

Alfonso Jr was an amazing coordinator. He made sure our transportation to the private beach near La Boquilla was seamless (for a group of 7), having Jose Miguel pick us up from our airbnb. His father Alfonso, shared some history about colombia and about the horses we rode. Overall, we loved the entire experience and would definitely recommend!

Great experience! Jose and Gabriel are awesome guides, at the begining Gabriel helped guiding the horses ( I only rode once as a kid ). You get to ride the horses for very long stretch of the beach; Jose is very knowledgeable of the area and its history and is passionate about giving you the details about the place . Would highly recommend 10/10 👍

Best experience of our entire trip

Luis and his daughter Maria picked us up from our hotel in Centro Cartagena and took us to their ranch, along the way they gave us some insights into the local area and its wildlife. At the ranch we were introduced to the Paso Fino horses and given a demonstration of their unusual gait and learnt about the history of these magnificent animals. We then drove to the local beach and, after a very short wait, the horses arrived (Gaviota and Muneca), we mounted up and set off along the coast. Once we were comfortable on the horses, Luis and his daughter took some wonderful video and photos of us riding through the water. We then went for a long ride down the beach and back and were able to ride the horse out in the waves before going back to the hotel for a drink and cerviche before our trip back to the hotel. A wonderful experience from people who are clearly passionate about their animals. Wish we had done it earlier in our holiday as we would have booked additional experiences with Cartagena Horse Tours.
