Amazing… pure history and to be shown around by one of the previous inmates was incredible. Always try and get the 9am boat to robben island. We were lucky and got the only boat of the day. The crossing can be choppy and if it’s too bad all will be cancelled

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It is unfortunate you had a frustrating experience. After carefully investigating the situation, and looking at the evidence provided by our driver/guide and the emails sent to you. You were given a pick up time and received your tickets 21 days before your tour. The driver/guide contacted you the day before your tour, to reconfirm a pick up time of 8:00am. On the day of the tour, We see on his call log he was there at 7:45am and tried to contact you, he even sent you a Whatsapp image of how he looks and where he was standing waiting for you. You called him back at 8:07am stating you were late. At 8:29am Our pick up driver tried to contact you 6 times. The Ferry to Robben Island left at 9:00. You met him after 9:00. Could you let us know from our side what We could of done differently?

Our guide Chris was knowledgeable and friendly. He coordinated everything and ensured that we had a great day. Robben Island was fascinating and having a former prisoner to guide us when we were there was an added bonus and very moving. Table Mountain is an incredible experience and the view is breathtaking. Our tour meant that we skipped the queue for the cable car which was great. Thanks again to Chis for a fabulous day.

The Tour was amazing and my driver and Tour guide Chris was awesome he took me to the Ferry to goto Robben Island and was there to pick me up to take me to Table Mountain walked with me and showed me amazing views. He was the best! I had a great time and experience on this tour.

We were very satisfied with our guide Chris. Yes he is knowledgeable and makes sure the customer is satisfied. Our tour with Chris was a private tour just my husband and myself. Although the itinerary says water is provided we always had to ask and sometimes multiple times.
The itinerary was to go to Table Mtn in the morning and Robben Island in the afternoon. It was a very good thing that our tour guide Chris reversed the order. Our trip to Robben Island at 9am was very good. The crossing to Robben Island was about 30 minutes and the sea was calm. The boat is met by tour guides who have a connection to the prison (our guide was a political prisoner at Robben Island) so you can hear from the actual people. You get to witness the living conditions and get an understanding of life on Robben Island. We learned that there were many people important to the history of South Africa who were incarcerated at Robben Island. Most people only knew of Mandela’s struggles in the prison at Robben Island. We would have liked more time to read the stories of those other political prisoners incarcerated.
The trip back to Cape Town at about 12pm was with pretty rough seas. When we arrived back at Cape Town Chris told us that Table Mtn was closed due to extremely high winds. Chris was good about it and we made arrangements to go up to Table Mtn the next day. Because of the rough seas the afternoon trips to Robben Island were also cancelled.
Table Mtn was added as one of the seven natural wonders. I don’t see any great reason why. It is a flat rock. You get a view of all of Cape Town. The cable car takes a few minutes to get to the top. Once at the top there are a few hiking trails. We saw the Dressie (rock bunny) and a lizard. Then took the cable car down. We finished the day at Cape of Good Hope Castle (on our own).
It was a very good day and thanks to Chris we got to do everything planned.

The overall tour was great, got a lovely history about our country's freedom fighters from the tour guides at Robben Island (From bus and prison), on my way back spent the remaining half of a day at Table mountain. The table mountain experience was amazing (the views ) were breathtaking, and what a friendly tour guide I had , Chris - he is the best.

Our guide Chris picked us up on time, lovely guy, very knowledgable and friendly. Took us to Table Mountain....wow. Beautiful day, pre-paid tickets so no queueing. There was no wind , it was stunning, simply stunning, a must do. The ride up is awesome, the viewa are spectacular. Overall would give this a 11 out of 10.
Robben Island...... Chris dropped us at the V&A departure point and ensured we were cheked into ferry. Trip over was good, But the overall experience was,,, very underwhelming, not what we thought. Put on buses with a commentary from a guide that was mostly unintelligable as English wasn't her first language - made it very difficult to understand. Those visitors on the bus for whom English was also not THEIR first langage missed almost everything - we asked. We get that it's best to have locals doing the tours but please - have someone check they can be ubderstood. Secondly - the actual visit. Boring as batsh*t. Some houses, cell blocks and a quick flybuy of Mandela's cell. Sadly it was very underwhelming and overall a disservice to the history of the place. 6 out of 10 as a sign of respect but not deserved. Would not return or recommend

Chris, the guide, was affable and friendly, so his stories of Hank the Parrot causing the Tablecloth on Table Mountain was quite funny. As I'd paid for the Table Mountain tour I had to go up, with Chris coming with me. There were views of the city going up the cable car, but on the top it was just mists. Then Chris took me down to The Robben Island ferry, but didn't join me. The Robben Island tour was superb with Dumisani doing a great job. Then Chris met me after the ferry and dropped me back at my hotel by 3.30! Was this value for the money I spent? Not really as you can do both Table Mountain and Robben Island, with cab rides in between much cheaper. So slightly disappointing in the value aspects.

We tried to look up when you booked but your name does not come up at all!
Regarding the value aspect.
The mists on table mountain unfortunately that is something I cannot solve and cannot control the weather.
If you were to just take a cab to table mountain, the cab driver will not be able to join you up table mountain (Unless you pay entrance fee of R360.00, and stand on a different queue) and give you any break down of table mountain/history or guiding of any sort and the reliability of the answers of your questions could possibly be misled. In your case you paid for a driver/guide and not a Cab.
Robben Island has their own guides more then qualified to give you a tour of the island. To my knowledge no guide outside Robben Island will give you a guided tour of Robben Island. the cab driver will not be able to join either and may charge you for parking fees as the Robben Island tour is about 4 hours long.
Regarding being back by 3:30pm, the tour is advertised for 7 - 8 Hours. Pick up for scheduled tour begins at 7:30am is this not within the time frame?
The entrance fees to Table Mountain/Robben Island make up about 50% of what you paid for the tour (You are more then welcome to check). Excluding any extras or parking fees of any sort. The Driver/guide (me) picks you up from your hotel and drops you exactly where he picked you up.
Bare in mind when booking you with us you can wait up to 48 hours for our response due to the high demand of Robben Island tickets, which means if you just get a cab to drive you down to the clock tower waterfront there is a very good chance you will not get tickets to Robben Island.
If you feel this is overpriced you are more then welcome to compare what is offered with competitors and please do get back to us so we can make changes where necessary.

午前中、ロベン島ツアーのあと、テーブルマウンテンに向かう途中に山から煙が上がっていてびっくり。山火事でした。警察がストップしていたので断念。しかし柔軟に対応していただけて、ツアーは「あなたが滞在中にリスケジュールする」と言っていただいてその日は解散しました。
実際、翌日には運よく沈火されていたので、翌日の午前ににテーブルマウンテンへ(ダメな場合はこちらの都合で一週間後を予定してくれていました)。ガイドのクリスは、お勧めの土産物屋さんを教えてくれたり、写真を撮ってくれたり、私がフェリーのチケットがみつからなかったらその場でWhatsAppにおくってくれたりと、とても臨機応変でかつ親切でした。
＊WhatsAppはアジアの人にはなじみがないかもしれませんが、スマホに入れておくべき！
またクリスはテーブルマウンテンのケーブルカーのスタッフたちととてもフレンドリーに話していたので、現地の人間関係もお持ちであることがよく分かります。
何かあった時にツアーの真の姿が見えますね。
