What an amazing experience! My husband and I booked this last minute when we were looking for a Snorkel only tour and we are so happy we did! Captain Mario was super nice and chill and our Snorkel guide Bacon was absolutely amazing! Saw multiple eagle rays, sea turtles, sleeping shark, lobster and even a triggerfish! Would highly recommend this tour!!!!

Crispy Bacon was the name of our guide and he was so attentive about making sure my group (some new to snorkeling) were well prepared. Even gave us some pro-tips on how masks should be worn I had never been told before! He pointed out small creatures and plants we would have just swam right past. It was awesome!!

We had an amazing time on this tour! We first booked in October 2023 and had so much fun we came back. This time was just as great and we even saw an Eagle Ray! The guides are great, equipment was provided. Showers and restrooms are onsite. If you’re staying in Puerto Morelos don’t be intimidated by the lack of hotel pickup. The taxis are safe, affordable ($12 each way from Dreams Jade), easy to use, and it’s 100% worth it. Explore the shops and restaurants in this awesome little town afterwards (pro tip: the supermarket has affordable snacks and souvenirs).

When we arrived, we were told that the tour guide was going to be "10-20 minutes late due to the late arrival of a previous client". He ended up arriving 30 minutes after our scheduled start time - which would have been just a mere inconvenience if he had not proceeded to end the tour exactly on time, effectively short changing us half an hour of what should have been about 90 minutes snorkelling.
What's more, our guide Mario was rude from the moment we met him, grunting in response to statements like "hi, we have a booking for 2pm", snapping at another customer when they asked a question, and being generally stand-offish, grumpy, and just plain mean the whole time, making what should have been a joyful, exciting trip one where we felt like we were walking on eggshells.
Puerto Morelos snorkeling is beautiful and I highly recommend it, BUT
1. Don't do it with this company
2. Put on sunscreen an hour before you arrive (they didn't tell us this until we had already arrived instead of including it in the booking email)
3. For the love of God somebody give Mario a new job, he seems to really hate this one.

Great tour guide! we had an awesome time and saw some big fish! It is really nice to be able to still get an affordable tour that is just snorkeling as we did not want the basic lunch that comes with most tours.

Nice snorkeling moment, crystal clear water, lot of colorful little fishes, impressive reef and a very nice guide !
Shame we did not see any turtles, rays, eels, lobster… or any other surprising animals…

Absolutely terrible service would not recommend this to anyone. Once you book, rest assured that you will never get any communication from them. Both their posted office number and email are not registered and they don’t respond to messages. I had booked another snorkeling tour in the morning which was cancelled due to strong wind so I reached out to this tour (which I had booked for in the afternoon at 4pm) to make sure it wasn’t also cancelled. Reached out every hour since 11am and it was complete silence. Ended up not going without their confirmation because it would’ve been an expensive Uber to go and they are unwilling to provide a refund, even though I tried to contact them every way possible for confirmation of the tour HOURS before it happened. Terrible customer service. Would highly highly recommend against it

We saw a giant barracuda that was resting on a rock. Experienced snorkelers(especially those comfortable in the water will enjoy this greatly)

We were booked for a Tuesday snorkel, they were flexible about us changing time slots from the 8 to the 10. The weather was windy, red flag on the reef, so they had to cancel, we did it the following day and managed to have a private tour just me and my father on his 80th, it was pretty awesome. Plenty of people on the reef today, but the guides kept us separated so you really were uninterrupted. We saw two kinds of sea rays, a turtle, hundreds of vibrantly colored fish, a turtle, a cormorant, lots of coral sprouts. Protect the reef, don't wear sunblock or bug spray. Beautiful experience, highly recommended.

We had an amaaaaazing time! Our guide was great!… the reef, coral, and fish were beautiful! And we even saw a Reef Shark! It was HUGE! We worked up quite an appetite so we ate at the local spot on site, and the Food was the best we had in Cancun our entire trip!!
Word of wisdom::: Be sure you are in decent physical conditioning! You will be tired when you leave! ☺️

The snorkeling was incredible and I highly recommend. However, after the tour I asked a member of the staff (Antonio) to rent a snorkel, and he told me to rest because he had a "special surprise" for me. After my puzzled look, he complimented my body and tried to kiss me. This behavior was unwanted, unprovoked, and unacceptable, and I have not found proper channels to report it.

Beautiful snorkeling, professional service, tons of fun. Also, a great deal! The town of Puerto Morelos is also lovely. If I had seen it before booking an Airbnb in Playa del Carmen, I would have booked in Puerto Morelos instead.

Alejandro was an incredible guide. So informative and helpful, he’s someone that anyone can really enjoy a tour from. Our most memorable parts were all the barracuda and seeing the beautiful reef.

What a great experience we had. We had the best time with Alejandro who took us to some amazing snorkeling spots. The price was the best I had found and he earned every dollar. His English was perfect and the experience was very personal. Very safe and laid back, good for any age!

Alejandro was great, professional, and educated on the coral reefs. We enjoyed our time snorkeling and we got to see some pretty cool reefs! We arrived at our meeting point, got our gear, making sure everything fit accurately before we left, made a short 2 min walk to the boat, took a short ride and spent around 45 mins at each place. We saw some type of sting ray and so many fish. Alejandro shared his knowledge on the coral reefs and we learned something new! Small group. 5 stars for sure.

We went early and ended up as a private tour. Alexandro was our capitan and guide. He is very knowledgeable and pointed out many things we might have missed. The reef is beautiful and he took us to some great areas. Also, we had to change our reservation time and they were very accommodating. Highly recommended short tour 👍

Our guide was Alejando. He spoke perfect English and was super nice. He went out of his way to accommodate my pregnant wife and snorkeled with us showing us around the coral reefs in the area. We saw tons of fish and other ocean life. Would definitely book another trip with him.

Wow! Such an amazing experience! Alejandro was a great captain and his partner was a great guide! Very clean and easy to find right on the beach in Puerto Morelos. Works amazing with people who have mobility issues (my mom has a bad knee) and they were wonderful to her! There was also 4 of us on the whole trip. Not a mass of people. Was perfect! Highly recommend! 11/10!

The operator was great to work with. The location in perfect since the Snorkel Office is right behind the Don Ernestos Restaurant. We litterly walked maybe 30 yards to the boat, and within maybe 5 minutes we were at the reef. Our guide was awesome and joined us throughout the excursion. When we got back we changed, tried off, and were able to get a good meal at the restaurant. The price for the snorkel was reasonable and the town had a great quiet, laid back vibe to it.

I sent my clients on this trip as a gift - and they LOVED every minute of it! At first they were a little turned off because transportation wasn't included but once they saw how easy it was to get there and how great the instructors were - they were ecstatic!

Alejandro was a great snorkeling guide and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed and had a good time. He even found a beautiful nurse shark that was doing its best to hide from us!
