DO NOT book with this group. They are scammers! They said pick up was at 9:55am, my wife and I were there at 9:30am since we finished breakfast early. When the time came they said I was a no call no show. I messaged back and forth with vendor to get refund. They said they had proof of being at my hotel. The video showed an entirely different hotel and location. THEY WERE A NO CALL AND NO SHOW which should qualify me for a refund. Unfortunately I am still working on getting my refund, not sure if I will get it but want to make sure it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Excursion provider could not find a ride which was included in the excursi9n and failed to notify Viator of the cancellation. I need my money back. On top of that, ai had to contact them to find out they couldn't pick me up.

Fun but disappointing

Pick up was prompt. There were more people on the boat than expected. Snorkeling was fun but chaotic due to how many people (50) or more snorkeling all at once. Bumping into each other. The advertised experience included spiniker however that was not included or even offered. That was one of the main reasons I booked this one over the other advertised offers. We were disappointed in the false advertising. The island was nice. Had plenty of time to explore.

Please Give this trip a miss for your own sanity !!!!!

The transfer took 2.5 hours each way, and a delay of 2 hours pick up. Never again. We got back to our hotel at 10 pm so we missed our evening dinner.

Having already done the same excursion twice before, we found this one to be better. The transport to and from the catamaran was flawless and we appreciated the additional free time. The drop off at North beach was a much better setting. The crew was fantastic as always. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

I had no idea we would only get to spend an hour at the beach. I expected a few hours! Not a trip for kids don’t have snorkeling gear that fits them. The staff on the boat were great, the only positive I really have.

Talk about a disappointing experience! My family of eight booked this excursion anticipating it being a quiet and leisurely boat ride where we could enjoy great snorkeling and then some chill time on a nice Beach. Unfortunately that was far from it. To start with, the communication up until the night before indicated the activity would start at noon. Luckily, I messaged the company to confirm that the night before and was told that we need to be ready to depart two hours before that. They had made no attempts to send this information to me. it was only because I reached out that we learned this detail. The driver pulled up and took a picture of my husband and I standing on the sidewalk in front of the lobby to tell me that we needed to be at the transport as he was leaving in 2 minutes if we weren't. Yet he never bothered to walk the three steps over to talk to us. Again, we were the ones to initiate the communication. Communication = D- We still pressed forward hoping for a good experience. Even though the tour stated that they would have a maximum of 70 people there were at least 100 people packed on our boat. Truthful advertising= F Not even 30 minutes in people were already getting wasted and we're watching Money Getting shoved down crew members clothing and lap dances starting. This was not the family-friendly Adventure we were expecting and I was not pleased about this environment around my children. There was nowhere in the advertisement that this was any kind of booze cruise, but that's what it was turning into. (Evidently I was somehow supposed to just know this) Family Friendly= D When we stopped to snorkel, it was ridiculously stupid. As we were forced to hold onto a rope while waiting for everyone to get in the water. My family and I are all accomplished swimmers and most of us are scuba divers. Being forced to hold on to a line and be right next to a hundred other people in the water and not allowed to explore the reef was disappointing and not a good experience. It's impossible to fully enjoy a big wide ocean when you have flippers smacking you in the face because you're so packed together. After very little time in the water we had to get everyone out again. Snorkeling experience= D- When we arrived at the beach club we were once again corralled into an unorganized meal situation. The food was mediocre. This joke of a beach club is yet another situation with way too many people shoved in a small space. There was very little shade available and all of that was already taken making it impossible for my elderly father or child to fully enjoy being outside. We also were not allowed to use the mask and snorkels anymore, which we thought we would be able to seeing as it was advertised as being included for the tour. Food= C Beach Club= D At that point, we opted for an earlier boat ride back hoping to at least enjoy the Spinnaker activity. Another joke on us though is that they never did it even though the weather was perfect. It probably has something to do with being so far past capacity of passengers. Returning to the dock was the disorganized Zoo once again and the office refused to help get us Transportation back even though we accounted for 8 of the 11 passengers in our van. Organization= D- Ethical practices = F The only positive takeaways I have of the day. The bathrooms at the beach Club are clean. The activity director on the boat genuinely tried to help and was a kind man. The waiter who brought us drinks at the luncheon gave great service. The water there really is crystal clear and beautiful. We wished we could have enjoyed it. If you are looking for a bar scene out in the sun and on water and don't mind bodies being crushed together, then this tour would probably work for you. If you want a nice snorkeling activity; go elsewhere If you want a smaller group of 70 or less; go elsewhere. If you want a family friendly outing; go elsewhere. If you don't want to be just treated as a dollar sign; go elsewhere The main takeaway: go elsewhere!!!!! I would not trust Cancun Sailing as a reputable or honest business.

They need to figure out transportation!

The excursion was great, but getting back to the hotel was a nightmare. We were the last ones and it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to shuttle us (that we paid for) back! Other than the transportation it was great.

I had a great time on this tour. We were picked up from our hotel on time, the staff on board were super friendly and the water in Isla Mujeres was so clear. Lunch was buffet style and it was delicious. The drinks on the catamaran was also awesome. This tour is definitely a must when visiting Playa-del-Carmen.

Misleading information regarding departure point. Do not take this trip if you are staying in Tulum the travel is too far. Extra Docking fee to be paid once arrive at Marina. Tour info stated 30 people maximum. There were nearly 80 people onboard! Only good point was the boat staff who were helpful and attentive.We would not recommend this tour.

This is kind of like a trip for you to spend a lot of money. They first take you in a long catamaran ride to isla mujeres, purposely doc you in the gift shops for like 20 mins then take you snorkeling for another 20 mins to a water museum that someone placed there. Nothing crazy then they take you to swim for like 2 more mins in the middle of the ocean. You never get stop at a nice beach everything is rushed.

The price was quite high (compared in time to the same offer). Additionally, a reservation fee was due that we (and other travelers) did not know about before. The tour itself was very cool, the diving great and on the way back the party on the catamaran really awesome!
