Timely hotel pickup, driver and tour guide (Omar ) were attentive. Private Tour was educational and exactly what was needed to start the “cousin trip”. Take extra cash for the Cobá bike or bike “taxi” option

Brilliant tour helped by having an enthusiastic tour guide who knew the sites exceptionally well. He was friendly and helped us keep cool and planned rests. Very patient and nothing was of any trouble. Only issue we had was knowing what time we were being picked up. Original information said between 7 and 9. Apparently the local tour supplier sent email when we booked in June. But we never received it. There was no confirmation of pickup time nearer the date and I was unable to contact within the 24 hours specified. However I do not feel it is the responsibility of the customer to check and confirm times. We were picked up at 8 which was lovely and the tour was brilliant.

Our guide Sergio was fantastic! On the drive over he provided so much information that we all felt so well informed upon arrival. We had two toddlers with us and he was very understanding of their toddler-like behavior throughout the day. We first went to Tulum. It was hot but he managed to show us everything and keep us in the shade as much as possible. He answered ALL of our questions too. Next we walked around a little marketplace near the parking lot for Tulum. Not too exciting but if you want a little souvenir, they have plenty to choose from. I was just happy with a cool drink after a couple hours of toddler wearing. On to Coba. We stopped for a little lunch nothing special but filling. The BEST part of the day was our experience at Coba. We rented the tricycles and bicycles which saved us quite a bit of walking time but also helped the local earn a few bucks. Sergio's knowledge of each and every structure in this sprawling site was incredible. In some areas we were the only ones there. We got to climb the pyramid at Coba which was a little scary but totally worth it. We spend more time away from the hotel than anticipated and a lot more driving than I anticipated, but luckily my 2 year old twins were awesome and able to get a lot of walk-around time plus I brought a lot of snacks!. There were 9 of us in all: 3 teens 13-19, 4 adults, and the twins. We all had an incredibly memorable day. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone.

We spent the entire day with Sergio. He was so knowledgeable about Coba and Tulum. His deep appreciation for Mexico and the Mayan people was inspiring. He was funny and engaging too. I would highly recommend this tour and if you can request a guide, ask for Sergio. Only drawback was that I did not know that I could have requested an earlier pick up time. We got a bit of a late start which meant more traffic and mid day heat. Benjamin, our driver, got us to Coba/Tulum and back to Cancun with great ease and professionalism. All in all a great experience.

Brilliant tour. We were picked from our hotel by Sergio and we drove in a lovely air conditioned van. Sergio has an excellent grasp of Mexican history and enlightened us on the history of Mayan Civilisation along with that Tulum and Coba. The sites are wonderful and different. Definitely recommend.

Our experience with Sergio excellent gude and Javier very safe, efficient driver was exceptional! The air conditioned van was fabulous, and since it was just the guide, the driver, my husband and I, we learned a lot and had a great interactive experience. The lunch was delicious at the buffet between monuments! The only down side was, due to the sargasso problem in the sea currently, a swim at Tulum was not a fun option, so we instead chose a cold drink, and a cool ride back to our hotel pool. Highly recommend!
