What is the maximum height of flight during the parasail?

The maximum height of our parasail is between 80 and 90 meters, depending on the weight supported during the flight.

What is the maximum weight that the parasail supports?

The parasail can accommodate up to 180 kg (396 lbs) maximum, regardless of the number of people participating in the same flight (maximum 3). There is no minimum weight however, you must be big enough for the harness to fit correctly in order to fly.

How many people can fly at the same time while parasailing?

Our parasail allows flights for 1, 2 or 3 people, as long as the total weight does not exceed 180 kg (396 lbs).

Can I bring my camera for parasailing?

Yes, you can. We have no restrictions on cameras or video devices, however, we are not responsible for damage or loss. If you want to have the best memories of your parasailing in Cancun, we offer a package of photos and video at an additional cost.

What happens if there is bad weather for my reserved time to parasail?

If there is rain or if the wind speed exceeds 30 km/h, you will not be able to fly. If this happens you can reschedule your flight without charge or request a full refund.

Itinerary

After hotel pickup in Playa del Carmen, Playacar, or Puerto Morelos, you're transferred to the Cancun marina for check-in. From to dock, you're taken via water taxi to the main boat where the parasail is launched.

Once you're in the boat, receive a briefing and gear up with any necessary equipment. Up to three people can parasail together during each 10- to 12-minute flight, which takes you on a 3-mile (4.8-km) ride up to 262 feet (80 meters) high.

Soak up the aerial views of the Cancun Hotel Zone, Nichupté Lagoon, and Isla Mujeres. Your guide ensures your safety at all times, including the take-off and landing on the boat. Be sure to bring a towel if you want to include a splash-down.

Professional HD photos and video are taken from the air and from the boat, available for purchase.

I enjoyed the parasailing experience; however, I would not book this trip if you are staying in Playa de Carmen or maybe anywhere else then Cancun. It is a one hour+ ride and you have to pick up multiple other groups along the way. Since you are the furthest out, you will be the first to be picked and the last to be dropped off. It was A LOT of driving for a 15 minute experience. If you are staying in Cancun, then this would be a good place to go. In retrospect, I wish I had just waited to book at a local place in Playa de Carmen.

I did 4 star as it was so fast - we were up less than 10 mins and we were the only ones - would have thought they would let us go a little bit longer since no rush and the info says you are up 10-12 mins.
