Snorkeling was quick, with choppy water so the visibility wasn't the best. Boat ride was smooth with good music and a fun vibe. Buffet on the island was decent and the beach was beautiful. Rolando was very attentive and helpful. He even spent time showing me how to use some functions of my Gopro that I had never really looked into.

We spent four hours in a bus to and from the marina taking and dropping off others. This would be okay only if we didn’t have to pass our resort on the way! The food for lunch was subpar.

There was nothing wrong with this trip. It was as advertised. The snorkeling isn't out of the ordinary. There are a lot of boats all in the same snorkeling location, so you aren't going to see any big fish, sharks, or turtles. I liked that drinks were included. The communication isn't the clearest, and we were a little confused with some of the instructions. They make you take your shoes off on the boat and don't tell you why (I asked several times and they just told me to take my shoes off and put them in the bin each time.). What really made me sad was the "shark encounter" they have on Isla Mujeres. They keep this large nurse shark in a shallow water pen in the sunlight with no shade or nature habitat. They let people get in one at a time to hold the shark and take a picture with it. There should be laws against this. If I want a shark encounter, I want it to be because I happen to see a shark in the water where I am swimming adn the shark isn't forced to be there.

Dear Visitor, Sounds like indeed you did not catch the information given, we do not have sharks on the reefs, and turtles are sometimes spotted but not usually, in regards to the shark you mentioned, this as you know is not part of our tour, you can either go inside the water or not, it is your personal decision. Unlimited Drinking, yes, Snorkeling NO

A dissapointment. After the tour i reread the description to see if I had misunderstood. Nope, it is truly false advertising. They specifically mention 2 top snorkeling sites... what they didn't mention was that the snorkeling at the first site is limited to strong swimmers between the ages of 12 and 60... ??? Which meant my husband and I couldn't participate.. he is a strong swimmer, and at 70 could probably pass for 60, but he didn't want to deal with the crowds in the water. I guess the second site was supposed to be somewhere in Playa Norte.. but since that wasn't mentioned, and no snorkeling gear was handed out as we got off the boat.. well how was that to work? the guided tour consisted of a walk to an expensive souvenir store, there the guides waved in the General direction of Playa Norte .. which is hard to miss. The Beach was ok.. no public bathrooms.. but there are some for a price... we found a restaurant/bar where we enjoyed a cocktail which we payed for, clean bathrooms, and good music. The guides also pointed out a mini mart where you could buy beer if you wanted to drink on the Beach. The Lunch was good, and free drinks at the Beach Bar, I didn't try out the Beach, but my husband enjoyed. If this had been just advertised as a Party Boat with Lunch , I would have been fine, because I did party, free drinks and Fun music are Good. Unfortunately because of the Description I was expecting much more.... I was left feeling deceived.

Snorkeling was okay. Almost lost someone on the way. Food was mediocre, beach club was a little sad to look at. Sand there was hard and uncomfortable. The personnel was really great though, I have to hand it to them. They were entertaining and helpful!

Ok but a little misleading

We were very excited to snorkel as a family when we booked this service. It wasn’t until we were on the boat that we were informed that only people 12 years and older can snorkel. We had to leave behind kids and adults to sit on the boat while part of our group snorkeled. The snorkeling sights were good but the overall experience was mediocre. Snorkeling only lasts about 20 minutes and you only get to swim in a straight line behind one of the employees. Also, there is only one snorkeling place on this tour—not two as it says on the listing. The food was good, and so was walking around Isla Mujeres. The atmosphere is very much for adults. The ride back consisted of the crew pouring tequila in everyone’s mouths. Overall, had we known what we know now, we would have booked a different service as we were traveling with young children.

The crew was so helpful. I took my daughter who is wheelchair bounded and they helped us to do all the transfers. There was a great positive vibe that make the whole experience an ongoing party 🎉. I will reallly recommended.

If you’re looking for a good snorkeling opportunity, this is not it. The snorkeling is limited and gives off a bit of a cattle move vibe. There’s a lot of folks, so it’s hard for the crew to do much more than corral people. If you’re looking for a fun drinking opportunity and you want to check out Isla Mujeres, you’ll probably have fun with this tour. Lunch was okay, but not great. North Beach was overly crowded. But if free drinks on a boat are you’re thing, this party on the water is for you.

The reef snorkeling takes place in a very big and visited place, this is the safest place for this activity and it is a big part of our tour, open bar is indeed included but we don´t consider ourselves a "party" boat, this is a family oriented tour, we can´t control if some people have a little bit more to drink than usual and the show our crew plays is also family oriented. The savings we got by booking with trip advisor was the first Great thing about our trip. Our hotel wanted $99.USD per person each, about $300.Usd for the three of us, and we got all three people for $29.USD each, saving us over $200.USD, so we booked three more tours for a total of $189.USD for three people. The same exact tours would have been over $600.USD for the three of us through our hotel. The tour operator was verry nice and friendly and we had a great time. They really need to change the title of this tour. This is absolutely the opposite of unlimited. We were only in the water about 45 minutes out of an all day trip. IM PRIOR MILITARY, CURRENTLY MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL AND FIRST RESPONDER IN THE USA. THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. CHILDREN WERE UNABLE TO SNORKEL. THIS IS NOT SAFE FOR ANY CHILD AND IF YOUR CHILD ID UNDER 12, THEY WONT EVEN BE ALLOWED TO ATTEMPT TO SNORKEL. We were picked up at our hotel at 825 am and didn’t get back until after 6pm. We spent 95% of the day off on the boat just riding. Let me start by saying the crew was excellent and I don’t believe the schedule was their choice. The first spot and only spot to snorkel that we stopped at was an area that has seas so rough, 50% of our passengers couldn’t swim in it. We had people who were getting in the water to snorkel, and within 15 seconds they were trying to return to the boat because of the current. I snorkel a lot and this was bad. This water was the absolutely terrifying. We were only given the belt style safety devices to wear. As I looked around at the other boats in the area, they have had the full life jacket style vests. All we had were the ones that go around your waist. I’m an excellent swimmer, former college swim team, and I was absolutely exhausted and a bit fearful of the current. The current was nothing to underestimate. I’m in excellent physical condition. Upon getting back in the boat after this swim, we were informed that 2 people had drowned in this water earlier and the former captain was in jail as they were counting heads. The next stop to as about an hour and a half later just for lunch. Then back in the boat. The next area we went to was a sandy beach area where we were told we’d have an hour to swim. Well… the spot where they dropped anchor was in a heavily populated area with a lot of other boats and as we were getting in the water, people were being hit by the other boats that were floating in the water, just glad no engines were on. We were literally having to swim between very large boats, catamarans, and other vessels just to get to a safe area to swim. 20 minutes later we were being called back to the boat to leave again. The next stop was in town just for souvenirs and such. We got a free tequila tasting which was nice. Alexander at the tequila tasting was excellent. We had about an hour to walk around the town, then back to the boat and returned to the marina to terminate the tour day. PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN MAKING THE CHOICE TO BRING CHILDREN ON THIS TRIP. THIS IS NO EXAGGERATION, THIS IS NOT ME BEING ANNOYED.THIS TRIP IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. ALSO, ENSURE THAT THE BOAT YOU GET IN HAS THE FULL LIFE JACKET STYLE VESTS TO USE.

This tour was not at all what it was advertised to be. It’s called unlimited snorkel but I think we snorkeled for about 25 minutes of the whole 7 hours we were out. The description said we would not have more than 7 people in our group. There was at least 70 people on the boat and we had to snorkel right on top of each other. It’s advertised that it’s the only tour that will take you to the secret parts of the island, unexplored by other tours. We anchored with AT LEAST 5 other full boats nearby who were also snorkeling. It’s advertised that you will have the chance to experience snorkeling at it's best in 2 different spots, the Punta Sam Reef and Playa Norte. We anchored only ONCE to snorkel. They advertise that they will provide you with the best snorkeling equipment by NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SNORKEL- there was nothing special about this equipment and we were not given foot flippers even though they were in a large bucket where the snorkel gear was. It advertised that a light breakfast and buffet lunch are also included. THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST OFFERED. I would love to get my money back if I could figure out who to contact.

The trip was okay. If you just want to drink and have a chill day then this is perfect for you. There was only one snorkeling point that wasn’t that long and you had to be a very strong swimmer. It was very crowed in the snorkeling area so you didn’t get to see much. The beach club isn’t so. We went to a beach at the end of a restaurant strip that had beds of sea grass everywhere. One redeeming point was the free swimming spot was beautiful (This is not a snorkeling spot). The exploration part is tourist trap and only gives you enough time to visit a few shops before departure.

We are not sure what do you mean when you mention a tourist trap, the free time in downtown Isla Mujeres is free time so you pretty much can do as you want for 1 hour. Didn’t took to the Snorkeling and wasted money

There was No snorkeling where it was supposed to be Unlimited Snorkeling and it was little bit rain before tour was started but it was finished within few minutes after that but they didn’t took to the snorkeling which was the main interest of us and was ruined the trip.

This wasn't unlimited snorkeling. We only got to snorkel for 40 minutes. The reason was because of wind and waves, but this was not communicated with us. The schedule wasn't what we expected it to be. I wish there was more snorkeling and time to shop. Everything felt rushed.

This trip was advertised as having the best snorkel equipment, actually calling out the brand name as “National Geographic”. My kids are 6 and 7 and I wanted them to have a good experience so this was important to me. On board they had cheap equipment that did not have a blow out. I had to complain before leaving port in order to get the better equipment which they did have for sale inside. They do not tell you this ahead of time, not stated anywhere on the description... but they say kids I think 12 and under CAN NOT snorkel, and they DO NOT have kids gear on board! My whole reason for booking this was for our entire family to get to snorkel. Only after fighting and calling a manager over were my kids permitted to snorkel with us. They say it is 40 min in the “open ocean” and very long and tiring to hopefully have less people want to do it. It was nothing of the sort! It was easy and maybe 20 min in the water. The guide was very nice and helpful! I gave him my tip. Lastly the alcohol! I think they put half water in it, it’s poured out of unmarked bottles! It tasted like juice. I waited till we hit land and bought drinks there. The DJ does a good job trying to get people to have fun, but it didn’t make up for the terrible drinks that you pay all inclusive to get! I’d go for a non all inclusive- at least they will have a good selection of alcohol. Also if you want your kids to be able to snorkel find a place that specially states kids allowed!

Snorkeling : you are dropped off in a reef and need to swim like 100-150 m back to boat. If you cannot swim, they say dont try. 30min Swimming, you are dropped of near the beach .. waist high clear water.. problem.. a lot of sea weed around... After snorkeling and swimming, you will go to a restaurant for your buffet. 2 big catamarans will go there and about 100 people easy crowding around. Watermelon, sphaghetti, chicken, lettuce, salsa, fish, rice, beans, chips and soft taco. Beach club: a joke.. .4 hammocks, a few day beds and some chairs to a 50m beach front. ICE BAR is where it was. Shopping: dropped you off at a pier then go some silver shop wait there 1 hr . Return trip: all drinks are basically Sprite, coke, orange juice, RUM, beer. So mix and match unlimited. Too rush. too loud music, headache. Sea was beautiful. If you want to touch and go, its ok, we are the lazy at beach few hours type... so its not good.

Too long and not enough snorkeling

The tour company employees were incredible, but it was a 6+ hour excursion with about 25 minutes of snorkeling. I thought it was a snorkeling trip, did not expect so much time spent hanging around at lunch and wandering around the island at gift shops. The trip was way too long and our return driver was thirty minutes late to take us back to hotels when we were hot and exhausted.

Unorganized and uninformative. We booked a trip for 10, only to be told Sundays are at 12. Saturday night, Viator still unaware of this. Snorkeling only for experience swimmers so was useless to leisure people. We purposely went to snorkel and had to stay on boat. Only spoke 95% Spanish so no clue what was happening. This is why we only use Lomas on our trips. Lesson learned.
