Misled on transportation after picked up in Cancun

The tour as advertised says it it 13 hours approx., but be careful if asking for pickup in the Cancun hotel zone. This listing is NOT transparent on the route or length of the transportation whatsoever. We were under the impression that after picking up groups early in the morning in the Cancun area, the bus would head directly to the first activity. Instead, after the bus ride started at 6:00 am with pickups in Cancun (we were one of the first pickups), around 7:00 am the guide said that the bus needed to head to Playa del Carmen (1 hour drive south of Cancun, and NOT on the way to Yalahau lagoon) to pick up more groups. By the time we decided to get off in Playa del Carmen, 2.5 hours had already elapsed and the bus was packed, with over 2 hours remaining to reach the first activity in Yalahau Lagoon. We decided to get off in Playa del Carmen, since a nearly 5-hour crowded bus ride to get to the first activity clearly exceeds the estimated time of 2.5 hours each way. Not recommended, unless you want to spend much more time in a crowded bus than what is advertised.

For any readers: The content of this review is not accurate, our tour is clear about it being a full day tour that lasts around 13 hours depending on the traffic The best route to the Chiquila port is to move from Cancun to Playa del Carmen and then getting straight in the highway, the times that this customer said in this review are not real and are exaggerated The total time for transportation is for around 6 hours round trip, the rest of the time is spent at activities or locations This customer was demanding a private tour, that's the whole reason for this review with exaggerated times, when we didn't agreed to his demands they left the transportation abruptaly

Amazing tour

Arturo from Tours Suarez was amazing. Very well organized and tour guide is very caring. Arturo is fun, energetic and made the tour lively. Holbox is a beautiful beach with pristine emerald clear water. They gave us box lunch and also another restaurant lunch at the beach. Highly highly recommended.
