Ask for Juanito to be your guide, he was excellent and the tour was a lot of fun. I thought my daughter was going to hate it and she loved it so much we are going back again.

Fun speedboat tour of the bay and ocean near Cancun

We had a great time speedboating around the bay and ocean around Cancun. It was a guided tour where you followed a guide in his own speedboat up front. You stay at max speed for the vast majority of the trip, only slowing down as you go through the mangroves and under bridges. We were able to switch drivers midway through the tour, too, which was great.
