Guide Angelo Briones did not show up.

Sara_M, Oct 2026

We were waiting for our guide Angelo Briones at 7:00 a.m. as agreed, ready to begin our day of exploring the national park. Unfortunately, our guide never showed up, leaving us without any explanation or assistance. We had planned our entire day around this tour, and suddenly we were forced to improvise and make alternative arrangements at the last minute. We tried to contact the guide, but the call went straight to voicemail. We then contacted Viator who would prioritze our situation and promised to call us back within 30 minutes, which they did not. We did not hear back from Viator until we received an e-mail 9 hours later. We also incurred additional expenses, including car rental, fuel, and park entrance fees, which we had not anticipated having to arrange ourselves. Beyond the financial impact, we lost valuable holiday time and experienced considerable inconvenience due to the unexpected disruption of our plans. We received our money back from Viator after insisting, but did not receive an explanation, nor a compensation.

Just don’t.

No show. No contact when I messaged. Heard the same thing happened the day before. Luckily there was another group loading and they had room for one more.
