There was bad communication from the tour company- I got a welcome text that gave a good first impression. But by the day before I realised I hadn't heard anything further - all the other tours I went on there was a message the day before from the guide or company confirming my pick up. I had to change the hotel pick up address, and got a 'OK confirmed' from them. But then at 7.10am when I messaged to ask if they were on their way (pick up told was 7am), they said they were waiting for me at the other hotel and acted as if I didn't tell them. It then took the driver 20mins to get to me even though it was literally around the corner - 3mins according to Google Maps. Which is surprising, given how fast and erratically he drove for the rest of the trip - getting over 140km/hr at times, weaving in and out of traffic as of he was playing Grand Theft Auto! There were several near misses and I'm pretty sure we went airborne a few times. Note that I have no issue with Egyptian driving, I actually enjoy it usually, but this was excessive, I was almost sick The guide was arrogant and had an attitude. I said something slightly incorrect and she scolded me like a child (despite being almost 10yrs older than her). She rushed me through the museum, which I initially thought was because of time restrictions, but it wasn't since the whole thing only lasted 7.5hrs, not 10 as advertised. The food was great, but I sat alone in a yurt type structure with no view. The Jeep drive and sights were great - don't let this put you off going, just find a different tour
