The museum has a very beautiful architecture and it will be until November when the whole items found in Tutankhamen tomb will be exhibited. The visit is enhanced by having a good guide like Amr who took out to iconic points of the museum, because it is very big.

I was supposed to have a pick up and a drop off also Tickets but the tour guide said I only paid for audio only so I did not go to the museum at all. A very bad experience. I paid money to go to the museum and never went.

Not worth anything and unsafe

I went on a tour because I thought it would be safer than going by myself. The tour operator charged me another $20 to pick me up from my hotel stating it was out of their normal area. Driver picked me up at 8 and drove me around for an hour and went and sat in hotel parking lot for 15 minutes. Went to the museum and met the "tour" guide whose comments were I love this gold statue I take a picture of it every time I am here. He sometimes got the info correct but it was no more than was on the information provided. After a short time, he gave me 90 minutes to wander by myself then wanted to take me to the market and someone who could make me a cheap cartouche. I declined. The "tour director" jumped out of the car when I said no and the driver proceeded to drive me out of town. I told him this I did not recognize this area and wanted to go back to my hotel NOW. He turned the van around and I was at my hotel in 15 minutes. I would not recommend them to anyone.

È assolutamente una truffa! Viene venduta come audioguida interattiva, in italiano nel nostro caso, ma ci viene fornito solo un file di 3 minuti con una panoramica sul museo. L'interattività consiste nel fatto che hai un numero di whatsapp al quale se hai bisogno puoi fare domande, in inglese. Ho chiesto un rimborso per la presa in giro, fornendo le prove, e Viator non è stato in grado di tutelarmi. Il loro partner locale ha ritenuto il servizio effettuato (quasi 18 euro per un audio di 3 minuti che puoi trovare a gratis su YouTube). Vergogna!
