One of my worst travel experience ever…
The tour wasn’t as promised: the boat was an old boat (not like the one in the picture), the guide was only showing the big hotels (like the Hilton) with no info about the local monument, he nearly forced us to « dance » so we « could have fun » and give him a nice tip.

Don’t waste your money on this. It doesn’t do anything in the title. The 2 hours included the travel to and from the dock and the boat ride itself was only about 20 minutes to the middle of the river and back. One small cup of tea between three of us, no water offered as described. Didn’t even see the sunset as it was so quick we were back before it even started setting. Very disappointing.

Pick up and drop off from the hotel went fine. Was expecting a different experience. There was no wind not to the fault of the operator, so we took a motorized boat which was not running smoothly and had strong fumes. Would not recommend.

None, we were driven around for 45 minutes and then told there was no boat. Still waiting for our refund.

I booked it last minute on the day, Christine Gale Q from Viator was most helpful in finding something suitable for my family.
Local tour group called me after waiting around for a bit but it was well worth it.
The boat driver (controller) was amazing also took some wonderful scenic pics of my family.
Hotel Pick Up and Drop off is a huge time saver once you get that sorted.
River Nile cruise 8.5 out of 10 I am being realistic.
Well worth it. Would be nice to have snacks on the boat but luckily we took our own.

Driver never show up and while there is an option of putting an adress that is not on the list , they do not pick you up if at any adress not in the rolling down menu.
We agreed on meeting in front of the hotel and we stayed waiting for our driver to show up. We called three times our contact who would tell us in 10 minutes the driver will be show . Never happened. After waiting for half an hour we cancelled the trip

So we booked on the day all good. We get contacted before the scheduled pick up to say it would be a motor boat and not felucca due to inclement weather. OK better than nothing let’s go.
Pick up ok, transfer to the boat ok. Boat ride rubbish. We went upstream approximately 2km. The disinterested captain point out five things. The two Four Seasons hotels, a fountain, the house of a former President and the direction of Giza. He also requested some generous baksheesh was in order. 40 minutes later we are finished and returned to our hotel without issue. We watched the sunset with numerous feluccas bobbing about from our hotel balcony….don’t waste your time and money people

We booked a two hours boots trip on the nile. They finished the boot trip after 1 hour 20 minutes, because the captain have to eat. The boot was just passing near the port. For us it was not a good feeling.

Very disappointed. We arrived at the port and while we were waiting for the felucca they called us and apologized that the felucca will be delayed 30 minutes. We were happy to wait but the felucca never came at the end. We missed 2 hours of our time. We decided to take another boat finally and we asked for a refund. After 2 weeks I was never refunded. So please think twice if your wanna book this tour. So pathetic.

Cool to see Cairo from a different perspective. We booked a sunset trip and it went from just after 3 to just before 5, so no sunset and not the two hours (3-5pm included transfers to and from our hotel- we were on the water for about 45 minutes). This suited us in the end as we had our one year old with us, but it wasn’t what we were expecting. Our Captain was lovely and engaged with both my husband and myself as well as our daughter.

the Felucca ride is a nice break from Cairo's renowned crowded and noisy streets. The sunset on the Nile always offer beautiful colors and inspiring sceneries.
However, the organisation was not very efficient. The pick up from the hotel was perfectly in time but arrived at the dock we had to wait 1 hour before sailing, losing the best moment of the sunset. The ride lasted less than two hours.

I would of rated this more but I really feel that for the duration light snacks and drinks would of made it perfect. It was so peaceful away from all the noise from the city chaos traffic. We went with our 6 & 9 year old they enjoyed it. Beautiful to see the sunset

Tour includes transportation to the pier from our hotel which was helpful. It was a very romantic evening but I wish we had brought snacks and drinks on the boat as the ride is a bit long. All in all a nice way to relax and wrap up our trip to Cairo.

Punctual pick-up. Views from Nile are spectacular at sunset. Two hour is too long when there is no wind, as they are not going far by rowing with the stick not a paddle. Anchored for a long time. Was relaxing but cold day so we returned early. BYOB or tea although not sure if allowed.

Déjà le chauffeur avait 1h30 de retard, nous avons pu contacter le guide facilement pour ça c’était bien. Par contre on a fait 1h20 de bateau sur le Nil donc une toute petite distance, nous avions un bateau pour nous tout seul et on a fait de jolies photos.
C’est une activité sans plus.

O passeio foi feito com um barqueiro que só falava árabe ao contrário do que descrito, não serviram nem água, que aliás pedimos! Passeio monótono e sem muita graça, prefira passear de barco com motor, pois esse não passa embaixo da ponte e o passeio fica limitado.

Une excursion de deux heures est beaucoup trop longues sachant que la felouque fait juste des allers retours sur 200m au même endroit 15min suffit largement pour cette activité.
