Had an enjoyable time with our tour guide Hamada, highlighting the main attractions of Cairo as we walked and drove around during the evening. Also got a chance to enjoy ice cream, sit down with the locals to drink tea, and enjoyed a horse carriage ride too. If time is a little tight and you want to have a quick glimpse of the city, highly recommend this tour!

The guide and the driver were very professional and friendly. We had a great tour of the shops at our pace with the guide being a great translator needed in most shops. We had a tasty meal followed by a very comfortable carriage ride around the central area taking in the colour and movement of the night. I’m very happy for the quality all round of this tour.

A nice and relaxing night in Cairo

Ahmed was amazing. He was so excited and exuberant. He arrived at our hotel promptly at 6:30 PM. He asked us what we wanted to eat and what we had already eaten in Egypt. We told him about authentic Egyptian food. He recommended Koshari. He explained that due to it being Ramadan and that it was slightly past Iftar there may be a small wait. We waited less than 5 minutes and were escorted to our table. The restaurant was authentic, vibrant, and bustling and the food was delicious. From there, we went to the downtown shopping area. We had the opportunity to walk around and shop, but we were kind of tired from the day so we just drove through the shopping area. Our horse-drawn carriage ride was amazing while we listened to authentic Arabian hip hop (our choice) and then we had nice ice cream and return to the hotel. It was a nice evening. It was approximately 2.5 hours.
