Great boat ride.

Snorkeling, and onboard service. We would come again, and recommend to friends. Suggest turning music down a bit.

Understand Environment Then Enjoy!

Be sure to understand that Cabo is at the tip of the Baja peninsula where the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez (aka Gulf of CA) meet. Thus, the waters are almost always choppy even in the "kid-friendly" protected bays as compared to snorkeling experiences in the Caribbean or calmer waters. That being said, our 7 and 10 year old boys still enjoyed the experience, and were able to swim well in the somewhat murky waters. Catamaran boat was large, and felt safe with nice restroom facilities. Staff and crew were all nice and worked hard. Food was good, and inexpensive liquor at open bar was pentiful, but not a lot of drinkers on the morning cruise. Viator description of this tour at the time of booking, which mentioned two stops, wasn't what we experienced. Instead, it was one long, scenic cruise along the coastline to one stop for snorkeling before heading back. Best part was definitely the initial ride out on the top sun deck along with great weather, but I could see this being a disappointing experience on a cloudy morning or more choppy seas. Worst part was the smell of boat fuel in the snorkeling area (just off the boats) and below average sea life (plenty of fish to view, but similar species) with visibility at about 8 to 10 feet, but still one of the better snorkeling experiences in the Cabo area.
