Great dinner!

We enjoyed our Hungarian dinner with Marti. There were 4 of us traveling together and a total of 7 for dinner. Everything Marti served both food and drink were either made by her, her Mom or a friend. We were astonished! We started with palinka. Then we sat down for dinner - cold sour cherry soup, chicken paprikash, homemade noodles, pickles and Gerbeaud cake. Marti served coffee, Hungarian wine (both white and red) and homemade soft drinks ( elderberry was especially good). Marti is a gracious host, the food was delicious, the apartment was spotless and we enjoyed getting to know more about life in Budapest and talking with our fellow diners. I would highly recommend this experience.
