Our guide picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel, very convenient. Saw multiple castles, he knew a great lunch spot and we got to see Braşov old town as well. Definitely worth it if you have an extra day for a day trip outside Bucharest.

We spent a wonderful day with Radu on our Peles and Dracula castles tour. What a diverse difference between the two castles and so much history to learn. We had a delightful Romanian lunch in Brasov. Highly recommend this trip.

Wild weather and great trip to Transylvania.

Radu was our driver and gave us great tour. He took us to the main attractions and let us decide how long to take at each site. We had time to walk around on our own. We had a wild thunder storm in the afternoon that blocked the main road from Brasov with a mudslide. Radu took us on another route through the countryside that most people don't see. He was very knowledgeable and friendly which made the day very enjoyable.

This day tour was amazing! The communication and follow through were perfect. Our guide Radu picked us up at our hotel in a very nice clean vehicle for the drive to Pele and Bran Castles and city of Brasov. He was a master at navigating through all the sites. He was a wealth of knowledge, sharing history and culture of the area and sites. He truly made us feel like his personal guests, always ready to answer any questions. We never felt rushed and he gave us many helpful tips about traveling around Romania that helped us for the remainder of our trip. He put us onto a friendly delicious place for lunch in Brasov. The private transportation allowed for ease in getting everywhere we wanted to see. At the end of the day we were safely dropped off back in Bucharest. I highly recommend this tour and Radu, thanks again, great memories!

Our guide, Andre was on time and had a great day planned for us. The drive was beautiful, although mostly rainy. But we loved Brasov's Old Town and enjoyed exploring this beautiful town with Andre's commentary. Peles Palace was beautiful, amazing architecture, and a very interesting history. Andre was so good in knowing the history of every place we went and able to share it so well. At Bran castle, Andre made us a reservation at a great restaurant that he knew and frequented many times. He joined us for a late lunch and we had a wonderful time. Long day, but this is a must do!

Andrei is a fabulous driver and a wealth of local knowledge. He provided an in-depth overview of the areas we visited and provided the right amount of time to stop and enjoy the various sites. The Transylvanian Alps are gorgeous with many quaint ski villages along the route, stopping at Peles Castle was wonderful. We discussed Romanian culture and it's history. A highlight was to sit down with him for lunch in the beautiful city of Brasov. Thanks for a fantastic tour!

Three friends traveling highly recommend Romania Tours & Trips private tour of Dracula Castle, Peles Castle and Braşov. Nothing beats the comfort and convenience of a private car for the trip into Transylvania. Our driver and guide, Sergui, was exceptional; excellent communication, very knowledgeable, accommodating and a pleasure to spend the day with.

Hi, I'm really sorry that you guys did not have a complete experience because Peles Castle was closed, but its written in the tour description that Peles Castle is closed on Monday and Tuesday for the inside visit (is nothing that us can do) I really hope that you had good times in Brasov and at Dracula Castle. Beautiful March day in Romania! My husband and I booked a private tour. Our guide, Radu, was great - knowledgeable about the area, history and interesting facts. He was very patient with me as I get car sick and the winding roads were a bit of a challenge for me! Peles castle was lovely with amazing architecture and the amazing backdrop of the Carpathian Mountains. We also toured the two abbeys down the mountain from it - super interesting! I purchased these tickets online. Bran Castle did not disappoint! We purchased tickets (we included the torture tour part but it’s optional) at the bottom of the hill before walking up to the castle. It has such history and - the stories! We had lunch and strolled around Brasov which has an Eastern European feel. So pretty! Go to the Black Church and ask about the statue of the boy! We had delicious gelato - Radu can show where is the best! It is definitely a full day as it is a good distance from Bucharest but totally worth it. Wear your walking shoes and take a water bottle! The trip to Peles Castle,. Brasov and Bran Castle was well worth it. Although it was a lengthy day from Buchapest to these sites, there was not enough time to see Brasov. This was due in part to not getting the first of the day tickets for Peles Castle and the exceedingly slow service at a restaurant in Brasov for lunch. Touring Bran Castle was very interesting but requires a lot of climbing. Sergio, our guide and driver, was pleasant, knowledgeable and able to ensure we got in places with ease.

We almost didn’t take this tour, booked it at the last minute, and we're so happy we did! The tour turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our visit to Romania. Our guide, Octavio, was fantastic. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and full of interesting stories. He adjusted the schedule so we could enter the castles at the best times, and his planning made the entire day smooth and completely stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Ahh what a great experience today was.. our guide Radu was very friendly, knowledgable and considerate.. we went to Peles castle (make sure you buy tickets in advance online as you will not want to miss this fairytale castle) Bran castle and we had lunch at a wonderful place in Brasov. Radu was excellent and I would not hesitate to use his service again, so much more enjoyable than getting a tour bus, thank you Radu!

We took a private tour on New Years Eve this year 2025 to Transylvania, Dracula's Castle, Peles Castle & the medieval town of Brasov, it was the best experience ever. Our tour guide was Radu. Such a great guy and so knowledged with the history of Romania, everywhere we drove through he explained to us different history of these places. He picked us up from our hotel at 7am, his vehicle was very comfortable and he provided water for us.. we had plenty of time at all our stops to take in history and view everywhere. He took us on a surprise stop which my teenager was very excited about. The filmset of the series WEDNESDAY, which we didn't even realise was filmed there. This was great. Our last stop was Brasov Medieval town where Radu took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and we had the nicest ghoulish stew, which was great to warm us up. We arrived back at our hotel around 6.30pm. It was a long day but absolutely worth it. I would highly really recommend a private tour with Radu. He even found us a lovely restaurant for a new years eve meal in Bucarest that evening because we was not sure if we would get a booking last minute at this restaurant. Thanks again Radu for a special day. We will never forget it

Loved our Castle Tour!

We stated our day with our tour guide Radu picking us at our hotel in Bucharest. Radu was so very knowledgeable about Romanian history and taught us a lot on the trip to Peles castle. He took us through the first beautiful castle pointing out the highlights. We then traveled to Dracula castle. Radu helped us navigate lines and always walked with us to ensure everything was easy to navigate. He then took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch in Brasov. Lunch was delicious and reasonable. He. Is very accommodating to your wishes throughout the day. Radu even went above and beyond and helped us retrieve our lost luggage at the airport at the conclusion of our trip. The day was truly a wonderful experience!

Excellent day trip with our friendly and knowledgeable guide Radu to Peles Castle and Bran Castle. We arrived early at Peles and Radu made sure we entered first and it was like we had the castle to ourselves! Radu made sure there were plenty opportunities for photos and rest stops as needed. His easy going nature and attention to detail made the day pleasant and he ensured we were back at our hotel in time for an event in the evening!! Highly recommend!!

This trip was a great experience for us. Radu was a great guide who knew a lot about Romania and its history. The places he took us were fascinating and he was able to tell us lots of stories and some fun facts. Radu was very friendly and personable, and our trip felt like we were exploring Transylvania with a friend. Peles castle was amazing. I’ve been to several castles across many European countries, and this one was the most impressive. Brasov was a great city, very quaint with a lot of character. Radu had a great lunch recommendation and was great company. Dracula castle was a nice stop also, lots of history and learning there. Overall it was a great trip and thank you Radu for a memorable and unforgettable trip.

Excellent tour and Radu was an excellent guide! At your own pace and a relaxed tour, so much nicer than the rushed “cattle” feeling of a tour bus. Comfortable clean car and just a relaxed and nice day. Well worth it! I do suggest leaving Burcharest as early as possible, left at 7AM and avoided the bus crowds which was so nice.

First and foremost, believe the reviews that say to get an early start, it’s a long haul and the lines to the castles grow very long, very fast! Radu was an excellent tour guide, he started the tour in Bucharest, pointing out sights of interest and sharing interesting facts about the city. We stopped at Peles Castle first and boy was it impressive. It was packed but Radu pointed out interesting aspects of the castle and talked about the different rooms we passed through. We then made our way to Bran Castle and once again, crowds of people. I opted for a walk around the grounds vice waiting in line for hours and it was a beautiful place. We ended the day at Brasov - a very cute little town. We got to tour two different churches and walk up and down the old town streets. Overall, a fantastic day and Radu made it informative and entertaining. I highly recommend this tour!!
