Itinerary

This 3-day tour begins with pickup at your Bucharest accommodations. Spend the first day exploring Curtea de Arges and the city of Sibiu before bedding down at your 3-star hotel for the night. Day Two takes you to the UNESCO-listed fortified church in Biertan and the medieval citadel of Sighisoara, another spot on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Head on to Brasov in the afternoon to explore the Kronstadt citadel on a walking tour. Overnight in Brasov. On the third day, visit Brasov's Black Church and Bran's Castle, the legendary home to Dracula. After lunch, head to Peles Castle and the Sinaia Monastery before returning to Bucharest.

Important note: For Saturday & Sunday departures the tour will be done in the reverse order because the Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter season (Sep 15 to May 14) and on Mondays during the summer season (May 15 to Sep 14).
At least 2 people are required for this activity to take place. If the minimum number of people is not reached, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

This tour is not suitable for families with children under 7.
On Mondays the Clock Tower of Sighisoara is closed.
There is a 60 Euro single supplement to be paid directly to the guide at the departure if you require a single room
Peles Castle will be closed for general cleaning and preventive conservation from Nov 3 to Dec 2, 2025. During this period, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Pelisor Castle instead.
Not recommended for travelers with impaired mobility.

BEST PART OF ROMANIA

Our guide, Boogie, was informative, entertaining and a good driver. He “made” the trip for us. The three days were through beautiful country side and small towns. In SIBUI we had our best sleep and shower of our entire trip. PELES was the highlight of our tour. It was the most unique of castles we have seen in Europe. We highly recommend this tour.
