Our guide, Andreea, was an amazing guide: very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. She had good recommendations and good stories. We chose the 3-star accommodations and all were centrally located so when we did have free time we were in an interesting spot. A great trip on all levels!

An excellent option for people with limited time. Sibiu, Shigishoara, Brasov and more in between are jewels in Romania. With this private tour, we were fortunate in having Andreea as a driver and guide. We were impressed with her knowledge, planning skills and attention to our expectations and needs. An immediate friend and TLC partner for elderly people. The 4 day adventure was pure enjoyment from start to finish.

Absolutely fantastic trip! Mihai is a wonderful guide - very flexible and keen to ensure we enjoyed every minute. He is very knowledgeable, and is fully conversant with this area and its people, and was ready to share his insights into both happy and sad moments in Romania's history. Our trip was well-paced, and we saw beautiful scenery, visited historic castles and forts, and stayed in quaint historic towns. We highly recommend this trip!

Great tour of Southern Romania

Southern Romaina including Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Transfagarasan provided a very interesting and diverse experience of Castles, Fortified Saxon Churches, Cathedrals, Historical Cities and much more. Our guide Mihai included stops at Peles Castle, Saxon Villages, Romani Arts and Craft and several visits that enhanced our knowledge of the customs and culture of Romania. I would recommend this tour.

This tour was amazing. Nicu, our guide was excellent. He was creative, and even doing extra for us that was not n our contract. He was careful and considerated person. He even came back by the Transfagarasan way, that was not in the itinerary.. and this was amazing. We even saw a big bear. I strongly advise this guide, he more than wonderful!!

Great tour of Romania

We learned a great deal about Romania, its history and the challenges it faces today. Our guide, Stephan, was excellent and really went beyond the expected to show us a lot of Romania. For me I prefer a bit more active tour and I found that we visited a lot of churches and I wonder if there were not other interesting sites that would we could have visited instead.

Three of us just had an enjoyable tour with Stefan as our private guide. Our flight from Hong Kong is delayed for one day. However, Stefan and Mihai are able to rework out itinerary very nicely to catch up most important spots. Of course, I had to say Stefan drives very well. He is very considerate to make sure we see the best, we hear the story, we have good food, wine and ice-cream ! Transylvania got a lot to offer ... it's fresh air, history, churches and architectures. I personally enjoyed it much more than Bucharest city.

5 star! Our tourguide Mihai was the best. He is always punctual and very knowledgeable about Romania. We are very happy we did this tour and didnt regret one bit. My husband and I spent a week in Romania to celebrate my 77th birthday. Included were the 4 day visits to the world of Transylvania and the Saxon communities with our guide/driver Mihai. What caught my eyes originally among many tours offered was the profile description of the anticipated experiences during the tour. We generally prefer to travel on our own, but because this was our first visit to Romania, I was exploring alternatives. The selection of three star hotels at the town centers also would bring us closer to the communities we will be visiting in actual tour two out of three were labeled as ʻfourʻ star accommodations. Over email, Mihai has recommended some modifications to the standard plan to meet our personal tastes and plans. Once I began exchanging emails with Mihai, I was struck how polite and upbeat he sounded. In person, Mihai was as in our communication. He is very knowleageable of history and culture of Romania, and embodies balanced views of his society, and was not afraid of dialogue in English. Not only that, he balanced our physical needs sometimes we would forgo steep stairs for an easier walk, for example. He not even once led us to a touristy gift pit, unless we request for a stop to explore ethnic products. I was afraid spending 4 days cooped up in a car with somebody I have not met might be stressful, but it was like meeting a long lost relative, a nephew I have not met for a while. Mihai enabled us to witness the world otherwise inaccessible to us, and made our Romanian visit a remarkable experience.

We were lucky to have Mihai as our tour guide for the 4-day trip in Romania. He is a cautious and safe driver and has good knowledge of the culture and history of Romania. He also went beyond his duty to accommodate our needs. The meal Mihai arranged for our group at a secluded village near nature in Floresti was absolutely delicious.
