No show - ruined itinerary

We were basically left waiting, having to fully throw over our entire travel plans, because the driver didn’t show up. We booked the trip for 8am. After 15 min and unsuccessful text messages & calls to the local provider, I’ve been calling Viator. Unfortunately, the team wasn’t able to get in touch with their local provider either. Given us leaving Beijing the night after, we basically had to spontaneously arrange for a driver with our hotel experiencing extra cost, because of the bad service (or alternatively skip the Great Wall which would have been absolutely devastating). Now I am in the process to get the refund and claim my additional cost, while being bombarded with requests for feedback on the trip and the service, where I neither did the trip nor have the problem with the cost resolved with service, yet. I truly hope it is a one time problem we’ve experienced given that these kind of activities, can really stain the planned holidays especially given the cost that you are willing to cover.

i have booked this very last minute, after a different provider canceled on me but what can i say, Larry was a great find! amazing guide+ driver (2 in 1 person) know's a lot about the sites, the history and the city and just an amazing experience altogether... highly recommended!
