We had an amazing evening. Got a little turned around walking to our meeting place so we contacted our guide, Esther, and she walked over to meet us. Esther has great energy and explained a little bit about the history of the buildings we passed as we walked from destination to destination. The food at each stop was delicious. We were the only two people on the tour so by the end of the first stop we felt like we were having a food adventure with a good friend. Esther is super knowledgeable about the city of Barcelona and is well travelled in general. She obviously has great relationships with the staff at each stop. It was a very memorable evening and definitely one of the best food tours we have ever been on. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Barcelona. If we return to Barcelona we would do this tour again! Thank you Esther for sharing your evening with us and showing us such warmth and hospitality, we appreciate you!

A great food tour in Barcelona.

This is an excellent tour to get to know Barcelona and some of its food. Esther is a superlative guide and took us to three great restaurants in the Gothic Quarter, where we were introduced to a wide variety of tapas and wines. After the tour she provided us with a list of what she considered the best places to eat a variety of non-tapas cuisine in Barcelona. Highly recommended!

Of course the food was excellent, as promised. What made the experience great was our guide, Noah. Noah provided background on each of the dishes and walked us through how a group of Spanish friends typically “does tapas”. Very engaging. Would highly recommend.

Great tour, lots of delicious food, lots of behind the scene knowledge of the city from the tour guide. She walked at our pace, took into consideration any dietary needs we may have had. Ensured we were satisfied with the food and service. The restaurants were very accommodating to us. All of them had a table reserved and ready for her/us. Friendly guide to three nice spots

Maria was very welcoming and took us to three very nice spots. The food was good but did not seem particularly exceptional - which one would expect for a well curated tour at this price point. It was more like a friend showing you around vs a seasoned professional on a well curated food tour.

Ester was an amazing guide! The tour was a great combination of local history of the barrios and delicious food and drinks! Incredible fun walking tour even though we were running a couple minutes late our tour guide waited for us and met at our meet up spot walking around Barcelona just being our first day in town was a little confusing, but he was patient and made sure that our tour went as planned. Very thankful

Enjoyable Tapas Tour and Evening Out in Barcelona!

Enjoyed the group and the guide, Allison. The 3 restaurant choices were great and the pre-selected tapas selection was good depending on your taste and likes/dislikes. The guide did her best to enforce a no double dipping policy since we all shared the plates (tapas style) considering everyone is sort of strangers. It did seem like certain dishes were challenging to split equally among the participants (only 4 large jumbo prawns on the paella but 6 paying guests..), 1 small crema Catalan dessert for 6 people and 2 servings of fig ice cream with 2 scoops in each bowl, but again 6 people. There were plenty of choices and no one left hungry by any means but there were a couple times when it would have been nice to indulge more in a particular tapas and pass on some others or be offered a choice. Additionally, it would be nice to have a separate price for those who can't/don't drink alcohol. Other than those minor points, it was a nice tour and evening out. Allison the guide even followed up with an email the following day with restaurant recommendations in our hotel areas which was very considerate.

Like having a fun friend show you all the best spots, was accommodating and had ideas for those underage that didn't drink. And although none of us had food/allergy restrictions she made sure to inquire and was at the ready to ensure everyone had a great time with some delicious food. If asked she may tell you the location of the best gelato in town. I already tested her recommendation twice. Probably going back for a third before I leave. :)

We had fun chatting with her and our group members during dinner and learning more about Barcelona’s history and culture. We revisited some of the tapas places later in our visit. Great tour.

We'd sign up all over again if we could! We loved our time with our guides! Not only did they introduce us to some of the best food in Barcelona in the Gothic District, but they educated us on local history and culture. The food and wine was AMAZING, as was the atmosphere and vibe of each of the restaurants! We were a group of 5 - 2 moms, 2 young adults (23 and 21 yrs) and one teen (16 yrs) from the USA. They spoke great English and made all of feel comfortable wherever we went. Thank you to both of them! We already recommended them to friends who are planning to travel to Barcelona.
