Isabel was an incredible guide, one of the best we’ve ever had. Her enthusiasm was infectious and her storytelling made the history of Barcelona come alive. If you can, try to use a different tour guide - not Steve .
The tour was made from random anecdotal stories, not much said about city rich history (but plenty of personal Steve’s life history).

Olga was an exceptional guide. She was very knowledgeable about the Barcelona Gothic Quarter and pointed out details which made the walk fascinating. I use a cane so I’m a slow walker but she was very patient and I was able to keep up and really enjoy the tour. We happened upon a human tower competition and took our time to watch. I highly recommend Olga as a guide.

Steven gave the tour providing history and background stories (some true and some legend). We never felt rushed which made the tour leisurely and more enjoyable. He was very helpful with recommendations for shopping and dining along the way.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience touring the Gothic Quarter with Baggio. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the history of Barcelona, bringing the neighborhood to life with stories and context that made the experience truly memorable.
What really set Baggio apart was how thoughtful and inclusive he was with my child. He made the tour fun and accessible without ever dumbing it down, which kept all of us engaged the entire time. His patience, warmth, and sense of humor made the tour feel personal rather than scripted.
If you’re visiting Barcelona and want a guide who is both incredibly informative and genuinely kind, I can’t recommend Baggio highly enough. This was a highlight of our trip.

Isabel was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and personable, especially given that my family is a bit more introverted; she still made us feel very comfortable. We learned a lot about Barcelona and went back later to take a deeper look at all the landmarks that she pointed out. Olga was our guide and she was phenomenal. Very funny, easy to understand. It was just two of us so we could customize it a bit. She imparted great local history. This walking tour supplemented another one. Olga was SOOO much better than the one offered by the bus tour. I highly recommend this tour.

Montse was our private guide in Barcelona and covered wide ranging and in-depth topics —from where to have tea high above Plaza de Catalunya, Catalunya’s complex relationship with Madrid and where to find authentic flamingo dancers for later that night.
As we walked through the Gothic Quarter she told us about the history of the wall that surrounded the city centuries ago and pointed out the ancient Roman walls, columns and aqueduct. If I remember correctly, she said the ground was sand covered at that time.
She took us to Barcelona’s photomosaic tile wall, St Jordi’s door, told us about Barcelona’s 100 families, the history of Catalonia and the culture of Barcelona. We stopped inside Picasso’s ‘restaurant’ to see his drawings hung on the wall. She answered all our questions. Seeing all these cultural/historic places put into context was enlightening but the highlight of this tour was leaving with a better understanding of Barcelona, Catalonia and their place in Spain.
Afterwards, Montse tipped us off about where to find the freshest local tapas for lunch. She later sent us even more information to read over after the tour.
If this is the quality that we can expect from IN-OUT Barcelona Tours, then they will be my first choice for our next trip. I couldn’t recommend this more.

Berta was an amazing guide. When on our way to 4 different tapas restaurants she imparted a lot of knowledge to the group about historic sites we passed through. Also explained what foods we were eating at the different restaurants.

Our Guide Elvida was fantastic(hope I got the spelling right). We went on a private tour with her (my wife and I)..she was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable not only about Gaudi, but the history of the area. She found we had missed a old towne gothic tour the day before do to my losing my cell phone. She seamlessly took us places in the old town as well.
