Excellent from hotel pick (Scott) to return, after the Tour.
The cave tour itself was once-in-a-lifetime experience.
The experience was ethereal

We loved the cave tour. Kyle was our guide and did a great job educating us on the cave while keeping the tone light and making some jokes.

The experience was wonderful. The tour guide was exceptional. She was very detailed. I would like to revisit for exploration.

Great driver and great tour. Our driver was Carson and even though his job was to drive us to the cave and back he made sure our tour was memorable. He was the best.

Pickup was fine, cave tour was fantastic. Even my kids had a fun time. Had some spare time to check out the aveary.

Be sure to wear swim shoes. Water drips in a few areas of the cave, and also wet spots! Amazing history behind this tour.

It’s a 45 minute ride from The Crane and you get to see a lot of the island. And there are a lot of other fun things to do onsite there. Zip lining was one of them👍
Bill_H, May 2026
The caves were amazing. Crazy thinking these formations have been growing for thousands of years.
There was an excellent zip line and elevated obstacle course which looked like fun.

The calcium-rich water that runs through the caves have formed remarkable stalactites and stalagmites formations. They have created an educational and engaging visitor experience there. Worth checking out.

It's a bit pricey but overall it was a good experience. Our guide and driver were entertaining and knowledgeable.

This was a good tour. They met us at the cruise terminal and provided transportation to and from the caves. The caves themselves were interesting. We were provided a 20 minute video about the caves and then boarded a tram that took us on a 45 minute ride through the cave system. Overall, it was a good value.

From the time you walk in the door until the tour begins, you are being informed of every step. When the tour begins, in depth history is provided by the guide. They give you the opportunity to take as many pictures needed, no pressure. It’s fun, exciting and very safe.

Our guide was great. Explained a lot about life on the island on our drive and helped us check in for our tour. The caves and park were a must do on Barbados. We enjoyed our trip with Erskine-thank you!

Allow for flexibility and time. Make sure to bring snacks or eat at the caves.
We had a great tour guide, Roger.

Tour was great, but tour operator was terrible. After initially sending me details through the viator app about where to meet. They notified me in Whatsapp that the time had been changed the night before. Of course I never saw it since the previous mode of communication was through viator app. I was finally able to reach them and learned of schedule change (this is when I found about whatsapp message) I returned to meeting place at new time and they were not there. Checked whatsapp, no message. Then I checked communication through viator app and they left me a nessage an hour before asking to confirm. I replied yes; but at that point they had already told the driver I cancelled the tour. They finally got the driver to me a half hour later. They should have stuck to one form of communication and not switched back and forth. The tour itself was great but the reschedule caused me to miss another activity.

We booked to go on the 9.30 pick up time from our hotel 2 days before the cave visit. We got an email from Viator saying they would confirm pickup time next day. Pick up time was moved to 11.30 am from our hotel. We could not see how to cancel as it was less than 24 hrs when we picked the message up. Taxi arrived on time and driver said only 2 of us going. He had to fill up his car on the way and then he got a message to pick 2 more people up. He had to drive to the other side of the island to pick up 2 people, which increased the journey time to 1 hour, instead of 39 minutes. We were booked on the 2pm tram around the caves, but we managed to get onto the 12.40pm, which left at 1.10pm. My wife and I had to sit in separate carriages on our own. The return journey took a little less time, but we didn’t get back to our hotel until 3pm. It was a long day for a 50 minute tram ride.
Caves were brilliant.
We should have gone by taxi and got our own tickets.

This was a fantastic experience; I was speechless. Toni provided great customer service while we waited for our tour to start. Then Sierra and Shane made the whole tour extraordinary! The explained everything well and gave us time for pictures and to appreciate what we were seeing. They were both fun and friendly and professional.

The organization of the excursion was great. Our Driver, Sean, was awesome. Everything about that part of the excursion was good. The cave was neat to see, but it wasn’t much different from other caves I’ve visited, just a lot more water. Cave tour guide tried to be engaging. It was not horrible, but in my humble opinion we could have done something that was more physical. The most interesting thing for me was learning about how the island of Barbados was formed.
Denise_W, Mar 2026
Tram ride through tunnel was interesting with different formations to view. There was an interesting presentation to watch beforehand and a bird aviary to visit too.

Convenient pick up very well organized. The excursion was very informative. Highly recommend to everyone.

We were collected at the shop port. Really well signposted and organised. The driver gave us information on Barbados as we drove to the cave.
We were then left to have time in the cave whilst the driver waited for us.
Had some lovely food and drink in the park before the tour. The tour itself was very informative and fun. The caves are magnificent and a must see. Totally enjoyed ourselves.

Having booked this trip we were a little worried on reading some of the recent reviews. However, we experienced no issues whatsoever on our visit to the caves. Our driver picked up at the agreed location and was on time and he was there to bring us back after our visit. We had plenty of time to do the cave tram, the nature walk and the aviary and we had a great time.
The caves themselves are spectacular and it was a really interesting and informative visit.

SunTours Barbados made last-minute changes to our tour, altering the pickup time from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, which was unacceptable given the tight schedule of our cruise. Despite booking through Viator and expressing our concerns about the timing within an hour of confirmation, they failed to accommodate us. This change, made just 15 hours before the tour, left us no choice but to cancel, as we couldn't make the 10:30 am entrance and return in time for our cruise's 1 pm departure.
We booked with Viator and SunTours Barbados scammed us by changing our pickup time to 945am fom 830am 15 hours before pickup which is well past 24 hours cancelation time for us as customers and cruisers. They know we couldn't make a 1030am entrance with 2 hours riding and exploring with a group and make it back to the 1pm cruise disembark departure to another country.
We even wrote this within 1 hour of confirming our trip 5 days before our March 12 830am tour!

We absolutely loved the caves. Our tour guide was Gabriel who was an excellent communicator to both adults and children, patient with those who needed extra time getting on and off the tram or adjusting helmets 😉 and super with taking photos for each !
Irene_S, Mar 2026
The transport took over an hour to get to the caves, which I can understand, as there are more than our pick up point. We arrived at the caves, got booked in for an 11.20 tour. Went to the meeting point for 11.20 and waited over an hour for someone to collect us for our tour. Mean while, we couldnt see anybody to explain why we had to wait so long. Whilst we were waiting, other people from later tours were arriving, and had to be accommodated on our tour. Our driver back to the hotel was waiting for us and as we were over an hour late, we didn't have time to appreciate the other attractions at the cave. The journey home took over 2 hours, by which time my day was over. The caves are beautiful, but my experience was not.

Definitely a must see place in Barbados.
Other than the tickets you need to sign a waiver. The staff helped us with that - mobile phone required.
Once inside the tram (ours was at 11.20am but only got into the tram at 12 pm) everything ran smoothly. The guide was excellent.
