This was such a great experience! I love that it was unique and different than your average Caribbean tour. Zach was an amazing tour guide. He was great fun and knew a lot about the cave and Barbados in general. Zach had a great sense of humor, which made the tour fun! There are some technical aspects of the tour, especially the climb down into the cave. I wouldn’t say it was overly physically demanding as our 13 year old and 15 year old did it. There are just spots you need to take your time and be careful. However, our guide kept us safe. Explore this cool cave, swim in pristine pools, bathe with natural shampoo and see some bats! You won’t regret it!

Zach and Naomi guided me, my wife and our 10-year-old son. Was a wonderful experience from start to finish, with a nice mix of semi-challenging but totally doable climbs, scampers, wading, etc. we were looking for something more immersive than Harrison’s Cave and got exactly that. Highly recommend.

Certainly wild and crazy. The cave is beautiful, deep, swimable, waterfalls, spectacular. A must do if you are in for a crazy adventure. Three stars for completely unprofessional host. He loves his cave and wants to share it with fellow spelunkers and fit travelers, but beware. Not your typical excursion. Not recommended for cruise travelers due to time constraints. Does require a mid-range fitness level. If you can deal with all those things - YOU WILL LOVE IT.

We enjoyed every bit of traveling to the cave to coming back. My husband lives to see caves any place we go but this was top best one we been to. You go climbing down rock to swimming through the cave. It was beautiful! It sure was an adventure for 6 of us. Be prepared for rocky trail. We had water shoes but you definitely need hiking water shoes. My feet do hurt.. lol ..but worth seeing this beautiful cave. Zachary was our tour guide and he was very respectful, helpful to us and kids and was very knowledgeable. Will be back in the future. Thank you Zachary!

Let me just start by saying that the cave itself was cool…. However, this tour was messed up from the get go. I prepaid for this tour through Viator about a month or so before the actual scheduled tour. The day before our scheduled tour I reached out to the “tour company” to find out what time we would be picked up. Zach, our tour guide, and later informed, the owner of the company apparently let our booking “fall through the cracks.” He ultimately had to reschedule our tour for 4 days later and we were told it would cost us an additional $80 for him to pick us up and drop us off at our hotel. This is not mentioned in the tour description. We decided to go ahead and he said he would pick us up at 1pm on July 29th. 1pm turned into 2pm when he picked us up in a little 4 door Mitsubishi. It was us and another couple. So Zach was a hour late then when we get on our way, he immediately stops at a store for some items. One of which was a large bottle of juice, which he drank in the car and down in the cave. We later found out that he actually added rum to his juice and it was apparent that he was pretty buzzed on the drive back. We didn’t get to the cave until after 3pm. I will say, Zach was very knowledgeable about the botany and geology of the cave. He also kept us safe and no one was injured. Our tour, which was supposed to get us back to the hotel by 6pm, didn’t get us back until 8pm and we ended up missing our dinner reservations. I would not recommend going spelunking with this tour company.

Best Tour in Barbados

Best tour I had by a mile. The experience was truly unique and was something you'd find almost impossible to find elsewhere. The guide Zach was great, very knowledgeable and humorous, he lead my group easily thru the caves, made us some quality facemasks, and showed off his sculpting skills. The caves were easily navigable with some minor help for were to put your feet. We got to see the wildlife in the cave, explore and relax in the rock pools, and took tons of photos.

One of a Kind Barbados Experience

This was a one of a kind adventure that's not to be missed! We were two couples and Zach was an amazing guide full of knowledge, humor, and adventure. There we a few mildly technical spots that he was very patient in getting everyone through (nothing too scary). The cave was amazing and it was so fun exploring the pools. This is the kind of experience that is hard to come by anymore with how exploited most things are. We were the only ones in the cave and it felt like a VIP tour. Communication was fantastic. Highly recommend as this was the highlight of all of our trips. As a bonus - Zach had all the hot tips for great meals/drinks in Bathsheba/East Coast

Zach was an amazing guide for this unforgettable experience. We had the best day of our holiday doing something we'd never done before - if you're reasonably fit and up for an adventure out of the ordinary, this is the trip for you. Zach provided lots of insight to explain all of the surroundings inside and outside of the caves. He clearly loves what he does which made the whole experience even more enjoyable and engaging. Absolutely loved it!!!
