Experience life under the Caribbean Sea on the Atlantic Submarine! On your 40-minute journey, you’ll be submerged to depths of over 100 feet (30 meters), passing vibrant corals, tropical fish, and a sunken shipwreck. Your expert co-pilot will explain facts about the marine life and reef while you descend into the ocean. This is a unique opportunity to see the deep sea, usually only accessible to scuba divers, within a safe, dry vessel.

The Atlantis Submarine is an unforgettable way to get far below the surface and experience marine life in Barbados with no certifications required.
When you arrive at the docks at Shallow Draught, you’ll see the submarine surface before boarding the vessel. Take your seat in the air-conditioned submarine and get ready for your underwater adventure to begin.
First you will submerge to about 55 feet (17 meters) and admire colorful coral reefs and marine animals, like fish and turtles, through the large windows. Throughout the 40-minute ride, the co-pilot will share knowledge about the submarine, the reef and the creatures that inhabit it.
The submarine continues its descent all the way to about 150 feet (45 meters) to see a shipwreck, normally only accessed by scuba divers. You will be able to see this sunken treasure up-close, and observe the marine life that now inhabits the vessel. After taking in the wreck, you will resurface and be transferred back to Shallow Draught. Receive an Atlantis Submarines Dive certificate to commemorate your adventure.
This is first tour in the Caribbean to be awarded a double Green Certification from Green Globe International.

It's a hit or Miss. it's a lot of money wasted when you don't see much. Very over priced $420 for 2 w taxi. Not many people seemed excited

This is a great excursion for anyone who likes exploring under the sea! We saw lots of varieties of fish and saw a couple turtles. The staff were friendly and booking through Viator was easy and was so much cheaper than booking through the cruise line. I wish it would have lasted longer because the 45 minutes flew by.
We caught a taxi at the NCL port and took a short 10ish minutes and was $12 a person which seemed to be the standard at all 7 ports where we stopped.

Great experience. Easy to find. You’re underwater in the submarine for about 45 to 15 minutes. The rest of the time you are taking the boat to the actual submarine. Total you need about two hours for the whole excursion. Really cool experience. Got to see lots of coral and fish. Not a huge variety of sea life as you would expect what otherwise a cool and unique experience. The staff are really friendly and accommodating.

Very interesting seeing all the sealife and coral. It was sometimes hard to hear the guides commentary due to noisy kids and poor sound system. But overall an enjoyable experience.

This tour is very well done and you will totally enjoy it! Be aware that a boat takes you out to deeper water and you then board the submarine. It does not leave from the harbor. For those that get motion sickness this may be a challenge when the sea is rough. Once you go below the surface everything is fine. You must also be able to climb down steps backwards.

A marvelous and unique experience in Barbados 🇧🇧. You get transported from the dock out to the dive site and board the sub near Paradise Beach. The dive lasts about 45 minutes and takes you by a wreck that's now an artificial reef, then you dive to 130 feet to see the natural reef and coral. Fascinating! One thing: book transport from the cruise dock to the sub embarkation point. It's a 20 minute walk but no sidewalks.

A relaxed activity if thats what you're looking for. A bit disappointing though if you are hoping to see a large variety of marine life.

A great experience diving down to the reef in a submarine. Felt very safe and it was fascinating to be so close to the bottom. Lots of fish, and Glen gave lots of information about what we were seeing.
Just to note that you need to allow 1.5-2 hours - it’s 45 minutes (ish) in the sub but it takes time to get out there and back.

The tour was well worth it and quite an experience! Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. The captain was extremely skilled with over 20,000 dives. The submarine was cool and comfortable and the staff ensured everyone's safety while boarding and exiting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

This was by far one of my best experiences! Sherry-Ann is the sweetest woman and ensures that you are accommodated! I missed my first slot and she made sure that I was able to get this experience! I was SO grateful for that, that I brought another friend along. This was my first time doing something like this and I was nervous but they make it fun for everyone. Nice trip below the surf. We saw a turtle and many fish. Corral types were easy to differentiate, muted colors, expected for this area.
