This Catamaran was on point! The staff and energy was awesome! Lunch top tier 👌🏼. We were able to snorkle and see 2 shipwrecks which was really cool! You will not go wrong booking this tour.

Short cab ride to the Mount Gay Visitor Center from the cruise port. Tour guide at Mount Gay, RJ, was outstanding. He was a passionate ambassador for the brand and his co-workers. Tasting was great fun! This was a great way to spend a couple of hours while in Bridgetown.

Regretfully we were scammed by the security guard at the Mount Gay Distillery who at 10.25am encouraged me to book the 10.30am tour on my phone, only to laugh at me once I’d completed the booking and told me it took place at the Mount Gay Visitors Centre in Bridgetown, which was miles away. A member of staff came out and told us we could change the time, but as we were leaving for home we were unable to do this. I reached out to Viator, who were incredibly helpful and requested a refund from Mount Gay, so here’s hoping they do the right thing. Such a shame that a company like Mount Gay have such an unpleasant person working for them, it was a really mean and unnecessary way to behave to visitors.

We are sorry to hear about the experience you've had, we find this weird as the security staff are always very friendly and helpful to all visitors.
Spoke with the Viator team, and your refund has been issued, once again we sincerely apologised for what had transprised.
When booking on the website, the correct location for the desired tour must be selected, we always advise our guest to read the information provided carefully before completing the bookings.
Our Distillery location due to it lower visitor capaity, it is advised to reserved your spots in advance. We hope you can give us another oppurtunity to share our history, process and rums with you, should you ever return to the island.

Great experience! We go every time we are in Barbados. They are very knowledgeable about Rum and there is none better than Mount Gay! Bought some “sipping” rum and learned to make a rum old fashion. Will go again!

Our guide Akeed was very entertaining and made the whole event such fun. You can go to the bar before and after the tour.
On the down side you need a Taxi to get to and from the venue.

Akeel energy on tour is always a fun time, and we are sure you were entertained. We prompt respondsiable drinking and encourge visitor to have a designated driver. But if you don't want to use a Taxi you can also take the small little white Vans called ZRs which you stop at the top of our Gap.

Well worth the money with an engaging tour guide who is knowledgeable and professional. The tour and tasting are a great relaxed vacation activity that's good for breaking up your bigger activity plans if you have a full itenerary.

The rum tasting was fabulous. The host was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and funny. I only gave it 4 stars because you have to stand while doing the tasting. It’s a long time to stand. Plus you stand during part of the presentation. You sit during the movie. Add chairs and it would be 5/5!

Docked for a cruise. The distillery was fully booked. This was still a great option to get to quickly from the ship and enjoy a good tasting. Our guide was charming and knowledgeable. Put on a good tour

This was my wife’s and I first time in Barbados and we loved this experience. We had a great time and our guide was the best. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very entertaining and kept us laughing but also engaged the whole time. Definitely worth the price. I would do this again.
