- Minimum age is 8 years. All children aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by someone 18 years and older.
- All adults must sign a waiver prior to the tour. A waiver must also be completed by the parent or guardian of any child under the age of 18.
- Guests should dress in ski wear for this trip including hats, mittens, and warm boots. A detailed list of items to wear and bring is provided on your voucher.
- Group bookings of 9 or more guests have a 7 day cancellation period.
- In accordance with our Cold Weather Policy, if safety conditions deteriorate, we may cancel the tour, offering guests the option to receive a refund or reschedule for another date or time.

Rob was excellent! This was a perfect way to send the evening. We went in the winter and not having to beat crowds or adjust to large tourist was the main draw. He was very informational and did a great job. The passion for this job rubbed off on us. Love the small groups!

We had a wonderful evening on this tour. Hiking at night is so peaceful. The trail was quiet and the snowfall was perfect ambiance. Having the headlamp was nice for when you wanted to look at something but walking with the dark sky was sensational. Neil was an incredible guide, and we would take a tour with him again, in a heartbeat!

The quiet. Until you hear water. It was the most wonderful experience I've ever had. Our tour guide Georja, was awesome. She was very patient with me. I have issues with my knees and she reassured me it was OK. I give her 10 out of 10 stars. Thank you so much.

Hike is easy enough for my old dad to be able to do comfortably, good snacks and good guide (Jake) on Christmas Eve ! The hike is extremely peaceful at evening, and beautiful views !

Experiencing this location in the dark was great and different! It really forced me to notice different things about the natural environment, and the hot cocoa and cookies were a great touch! The guides were also knowledgeable and it was evident they wanted everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time on the tour.

Did the night walk for my wife and I’s final night in the park.
It’s a simple, short hike that is accessible for all skill levels.
Liam navigated us through the beautiful, icy locations and did a good job working the crowd.

Walking without any artificial lights so that the stars were brilliant at night. Seeing the frozen waterfall was amazing. It was very quiet and not crowded at all which was the reason we decided to go at night. Highly recommend this experience.

If you want a peaceful night walk in the canyon that you can see the stars, this is not for you.
The tour guide didn't clearly effectively provide instructions on how to use the head light. Some of the people constantly have the white light on and it feels like walking on the highways and being struck by cars' high beam every few seconds.
When we raised the issues, one of the suggestions was to take the private tour if we wanted a better experience.
I don't think our tour guide has been supported with solid directions. She did try her best and I can tell she is a hard worker. I don't think this is her fault. However, I would not recommend this tour to people who actually want to have a proper night walk experience.

We enjoyed our experience and our guide Erin was very nice, she spoke very clearly and provided lots of information which we appreciated very much. But we kinda feel like the day time walk would've been nicer to see the scenery and for pictures.

We’ve walked Johnston Canyon many times in the summer but to do it in the middle of winter at night was a treat. The sky was mostly clear with an almost full moon to light the way, no need for headlamps. Great experience, highly recommend.

I had a wonderful time on this evening walk, it was beautiful and the moon made the ice sparkle like diamonds. I learned a lot about the rock and the mountain and surrounding wildlife, definitely happy this was part of my trip. Heidi was great and very knowledgeable!

The evening Johnston canyon ice walk was amazing! The tour guide was awesome and gave us lots of interesting information about the canyons and surrounding area! The walk was beautiful and was even prettier when we all turned our head lamps off and embraced the light off of the moon. Highly highly recommend this tour!
