Our guide, Simon, was incredible. He picked us up in a clean van, told us a bit about the area, guided us on the hike, made hot coco and smores, and guided us through all of the high lights. He even took lots of family photos and was so great with our children. We really had a great day!

Outstanding tour and gorgeous views! Our guide, Rey, was super friendly and thoughtful and very knowledgable on the area. The hot chocolate after the hike was perfection. Booking the tour saved a lot of time and headache on dealing with crowded and cramped parking lots. I really liked the small size of the group also. Would definitely recommend.

Rae was our guide for the Johnston and Lake Louise Wonderland tour. Rae was a wonderful guide, she was fun incredibly knowledgeable and a fantastic personal photographer. The tour itself was incredible the hike up to the top falls was not difficult and could be managed with almost anyone, I cannot say I am particularly fit and I managed it quite easily. And wow the views, we were so fortunate to have had ice climbers there when we got to the top. Just another insight to life here. Lake Louise is just beautiful to wander around and attractions to do if you wanted. Photos hard to select just a few and found this wonderful selfie by our guide Rae. My husband and I just loved it and laughed out loud when we found it. Something we would do. Highly recommend you take one of Rae’s tours.

Beautiful tour in May to Lake Louis and Johnston canyon. We really enjoyed our hike at Johnston canyon. We got to visit 2 other lakes because the weather ended up being on our side. Ray our tour guide was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and can tell she loves her job. THANK YOU for all the amazing suggestions to do

I had an amazing time! I can’t say enough about Simon, my tour guide. He was amazing, helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and kind! It was freezing on our tour (started around 5°F,) but I loved every second! Simon knew all the great picture spots, and very patiently helped us take them, and we lucked into perfect timing at Morant’s curve with the train coming! The hot chocolate after the beautifully chilly Johnston Canyon hike was soooo good! This experience was so worth it, I felt like I really got a lot out of the day, thanks to Simon!

Our tour happened to be on Banff’s coldest day of the year, and I’m honestly really glad it wasn’t canceled. IMO, it’s a tour best for international visitors or those who want to sight see without a rental car.
Some details;
Tour guide: Michael was great! Easy going, good driver.
Pick up: you can ask for your hotel pick up, which I hadn’t known about.
Pros: group tour, good guide, safe, a lot to see in one day
Cons: van could use some improvements. Very cold, struggled to heat up.
Also would be nice to include hand warmers on days that crazy cold for the cost of the tour.

I was worried I wasn't fit enough for this trip, but I ended up really enjoying myself. There is enough time at each spot to fully enjoy the location and get some good photos and the guide is charming and knowledgeable. I even tried snow shoeing for the first time! Absolutely loved it. Johnston canyon is really icy in the winter/spring, so the cleats provided were essential.

Sean was an AMAZING guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We covered so many hot spots in one full day with plenty of time to experience each location in full. The ice was mushy on Lake Louise and thus only walked around the lake, but was wonderful! We walked to the upper and lower falls at Johnston Canyon, got great views at Lake Minawaka and Two Jack's. Had a fantastic time! Strongly recommend!

Our tour was small so he was able to pick us up right at our bed and breakfast but normally there is a pickup spot at 9am. Dale was our driver and he had a great and flexible itinerary mapped out for us. Lots of freedom to make additional stops and tones of information about local sights and attractions. He knows all the mountain names too! All the supplies like skates, crampons and snowshoes ere provided and he can provide rental stuff on other days when you aren't touring with him. This tour was my favourite and we took a lot while in Banff. Highly reccomend.
