Super fun “community theater-style” event. It’s not Broadway but it’s not trying to be. It’s clearly some friends who love theater, are creative, great actors, and want to share a little taste of Greek Theater with tourists. The premise of the piece is fun, lots of great comedy, and the vignettes of each larger Greek play are well done - the highlights for my family being Odysseus, Madea, and Prometheus. (I guess we’re more drama lovers ha!) Well done guys.

One of the best memories of Athens - definitely recommend! But! Got NASTY flu after attending the night performance in May!! of all months! Weather seemed nice, but it got fresh during the evening, so, bring something warm with you, since it's open air. FANTASTIC actors, great setting and beautiful location. All 30 of us present seemed to enjoy our evening of famous Greek plays, and we are not even that much into theater or ancient Greek plays! :) It was nice that we also got some complementary water bottles.

This play is a satire. We were not expecting that. The owner of the venue was so welcoming and held the show until everyone of our party had arrived.
If you enjoy this type of performance, you will give it a 5.
We misunderstood . We thought this performance was going to be a dance performance.

This is a must-see performance. The theater was right under the Parthenon…easy to find and in a lively neighborhood with plenty of dining options.
My family and I really enjoyed it. You don’t need to be a Greek mythology buff to get the plots…it’s laid out as the performance rolls on…the actors were energetic, super talented….and the drama was super fun, educational, motivational and really entertaining.

Amazing show with an incredible view of the acropolis at night! If you want to be immersed in the time of traditional Greek life of gods and legends, this is the show for you. With some unexpected surprises along the way, this show had me laughing and on the edge of my seat the whole time!

If you want to go to a broadway show, pay $500. This is low budget as the price reflects, but it’s a good value.

If it rains, you get wet. It really IS outside, on a roof top with a great view of the Acropolis. Lots of dining options in route to it and an easy walk from our lodgings.

This is overpriced!! It is basically a patio on top of a university. I was expecting a classical outdoor theatre. I give it that it has great view of Acropolis. Then a school play with boxed wine in paper cups. They actors tried hard , however I felt like I was at a school play with students. No mics, wierd play, waiting to get the point.... Etc.

Very fun and entertaining theatrical representation of Greek myths and comedy, goes for just over an hour and is a great way to spend the hot summer evenings.
Niched just below the Akropoli as your backdrop, highly recommended if you’re in town.

With the sunning backdrop of the Acropolis lit up against the night sky, this was a theatre show unlike anything we’ve seen before. We were greeted with complimentary wine before taking our seats and enjoying the view. The small and talented cast performed both short comedy and tragedy tales in the one hour performance time and received cheers and applause from the whole audience at the end. Afterwards the cast waited in the foyer as the audience filed out, offering meet & greets and photo opportunities with them. A very friendly and relaxing atmosphere and a great way to experience what Ancient Greek Theatre would have been like.

A clever, witty, engaging set of scenes of some of the most dramatic stories in Greek history/mythology… in an intimate rooftop setting… with the acropolis as the backdrop. After you’ve ticked all the big Athens boxes, this is the thing you must do. Felt authentic but light hearted, 1500 years old but modern. Absolutely brilliant. Ridiculously talented cast.

We booked this last minute after seeing some posters around town and are very glad we did! All of the actors did an incredible job and the play was fun and engaging. On top of that, the location is absolutely beautiful. Definitely one of our favorite things we did in Athens and a great way to end the trip.
