If you like sea glass, then this trip will feel like Disney land!! Except better!!! We loved our trip!! Our guides were amazing!! It is just the absolute funnest time!!! You will 100% love it!! Bring a sturdy bag to put all of your treasures in!! I walked away with around 10 pounds of sea glass!!!! One of my best excursions ever!!!

Amazing experience from start to finish! The guides were incredibly friendly, helpful, and made the entire trip fun and relaxing. The short kayak trip to the island was easy and beautiful, and once we arrived the island was absolutely full of sea glass everywhere. Such a unique and memorable adventure. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Aruba!

Fantastic experience

The kayak trip to sea glass island was amazing! The kayak portion is quite fast, and even on a day with rough waters, we got to the other side with ease. Tour guides Alex and Ericko were fantastic! My kids ages 13 and 15 loved it, as well. Tips: wear water shoes with sturdy soles, bring a hat, and expect to get a little wet.

A Really fun unusual experience in Aruba! Our guide, Ericko was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the short trip over to the island super easy. The kayaking was fun and not difficult at all. I couldn't believe how much glass there was to dig through. We found everything from emerald greens and rare blues to cool shaped pieces. It's wonderful to have an authentic, eco-friendly souvenir to take home, especially since you can't take shells. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island!"

For those who enjoy finding sea glass this is for you. Amazing amounts of sea glass on this island just a short kayak trip (literally under 5 mins) from Aruba mainland. Our guide Alex was great and we spent a couple of hours collecting all sorts for cool sea glass specimens to add to our collection at home. Recommend!!

Best Beach Combing Experience

The Sea Glass Island experience with One Happy Kayak was one of the highlights of our honeymoon in Aruba. Ericko and Alex were excellent guides - they were kind, professional, and fun. My husband and I also sincerely appreciated that they waited for us when we were a little late upon arrival - they were very kind about it and responsive when I messaged them through Viator to let them know we were running behind. Lastly, before we started the kayak journey, Ericko provided some history about sea glass island and showed us examples of different colored sea glass, marbles, pottery, and more you can find - some more rare than others. The kayak over to the island was scenic, enjoyable, and very brief. Ericko and Alex provided hand rakes and a plastic bag for our finds - they also provided water and Powerade. Beach combing on the island was so fun and I was so present it didn’t feel like 2 hours went by. One final thing I really appreciated about Ericko is that he asked for feedback at the end of the tour - if there was anything they could do better, differently, or add - I thought this was very professional and thoughtful. Everything about it was perfect - my only wish is more time! I could really spend all day there. I recommend the Sea Glass Island experience with One Happy Kayak - I will be returning to them for this experience whenever we return to Aruba!

It is a short kayak ride to the little island where you will search for the perfect sea glass. Make sure to have sunscreen on is my advice. The tour guides were so nice and friendly. We met some really nice people. Have a fun time.

We had a great experience. Ericko and Alex were very knowledgeable about the area! They offered to tow our kayak if the current was too strong for us but we were able to get there and back just fine. The Powerade and water was a nice touch! Overall it was a fun experience.

Sea Glass Island - Mother, Daughter Visit

Thanks to Ericko's guidance, my daughter and I successfully kayaked to Sea Glass Island in about 3 minutes time. We parked our kayaks and stepped onto the most unbelievable sea glass covered island. There are many areas where you can sit and sift through the glass. We were able to find some small pieces of red and yellow when we patiently dug into the ground. We tried to dig in areas that were harder to get to with the hopes of finding rare pieces. We did not find any of the marbles but we did see plenty of pottery pieces. Water shoes are a must!

Great Experience with Safe Guides

The team was great! The tour included a small kayak trip (to and from the island). The kayak was safe and I noticed that they tied the paddle boards to the kayak which was a bonus if you little kids that accidently drop it. Once on the island, you were given a tool to dig and find the gems. It was a fun experience and got to take some fun gems home. The tour guide even found some stones for the kids, which made their day.

A glass from the past…

This was a wonderful experience. My wife was a little worried about kayaking across the water with moderate winds and waves. The guide aat in the back of the tandem and shuttled her over while I took his single. She felt safe with that setup. He was incredibly helpful in identifying the various items we found. There is tons of sea glass, particularly green, which kind of makes it a fun challenge looking for the other colors. Keep an eye out and you might see a crab or two. The guide also had good recommendations for a local breakfast (Eduardo‘s Savaneta) and lunch.(Kamino’s Kitchen).

This is a quick Kayak trip across an inlet. The tour guides provided accomodations to visitors that needed assistance to cross the inlet. The tour guide Eriko was very knowledgeable about all the types of glass and ceramics that could be found on the island include a diagram of his finds. The tour guide Alex had a great personality and he helped everyone feel comfortable kayaking. The island has many great peices of glass so you wont leave empty handed. I would highly recommend this tour.

Absolutely the best professional guides who took great care of 4 ladies who are not experienced kayaks? Turned out to be easier than we expected. You don't have to be physically fit to do this activity. Fun digging through all the glass. I would highly recommend this tour.

A fun treasure hunt

Water shoes a must and good balance. It was like being on a treasure hunt digging through jewels looking for the most unique to take home. And the guides could explain what you had whether it was pieces of pottery or glass. One of our group found a piece of pottery dating back to something like the 1500's with writing on it. Super neat.
