Experience the voyage of a lifetime aboard the Aruba Atlantis Submarine, a technologically advanced passenger submarine that takes you 130 feet under the ocean in air-conditioned comfort.
Start your tour with a safety briefing and orientation at the Atlantis Adventures Center in downtown Oranjestad. Once aboard Atlantis' surface vessel, moored just off the southeast coast of Aruba, meet the captain and take a window-facing seat as you prepare for a thrilling dive.
Through spacious portholes you’ll see spectacular marine creatures of the Caribbean at the Barcadera Reef, including schools of tropical fish, sponges and coral gardens. View two fascinating shipwrecks narrated by your professional crew enjoy the educational and entertaining commentary.
After surfacing and returning to firm ground, you’ll receive an official dive certificate as proof of your participation.

Seeing all of the sea life through the porthole was amazing! The crew was wonderful! It is quite crowded, however, and can get uncomfortable if you have to half-share a seat with your neighbor!

We experienced it today, and had so much fun. Our kids 7, 9 and 13 enjoyed the underwater tour experience as well.
There is a bonus, a great fun team of professionals taking care of you. I feel that we would do it again and again)

My husband and I took this tour on March 22, 2026. Being on a submarine was amazing, but the tour wasn’t. We could only see fish on one side of the submarine, so half the time you were looking at nothing. Even when the sub turned around, there were very few fish to be seen. We saw a sunken ship and that part was just okay. I wish I could post the best photo I made so you could see just how bad it is.

These seats are only wide enough for children and small adults. I say with an obese person that needed 2 seats. This should not be allowed. I was crushed the entire ride. You can’t allow huge people on without buying 2 seats. This is not acceptable . I will notify the tour operators I work with of this and advise not to book.

Definitely a great adventure. Very good guide and 140 feet dive into the coral reef. Definitely recommend. There is ample space to sit and the views are incredible. We went at 11am and the timing was perfect. It is about 1.5 hours long and the dive is around 45 minutes.

Fun daytime activity. Tight seats but not uncomfortable. The trip we took didn't see much wild life but, am am sure that changes from trip to trip. Note: travelers need to be able to climb up and down a ladder.

Great experience and I would love to do this again!!!! Their windows were clear and not scratched up like others. The crew pointed out the types of fish we were seeing, some history of the wrecks, and where to look on the wreck to see the eels!! So YES, definitely do this. it was a little cozy but there’s vents and when I had a hot flash, I just hogged the vent and survived!
Additionally, I’ve been diving for 30+ years and this was nice to not get wet, and can share this with my sister, who sinks like a rock every time she takes a swim lesson!

You have to physically be able to climb down a ladder and be close to other people. If you can do that, it’s worth it!

The actual time under water is split between the two side of the submarine. Each side gets to view while the other side waits to see. The getting on and off the submarine was difficult due to rough water because our shuttle boat is tied off to the submarine and both are bobbing in the water while trying to cross over. It is still a unique experience.

This was so stinking cool! We reached 146 at the lowest point of the ocean. The reefs are beautiful/ saw on eel and it was epic. They make the tour fun and you learn about multiple shop wrecks. Doesn’t matter what side you sit on- they loop around so everyone sees everything.
You take a 30 min boat ride out to board the sub in the ocean. It’s tight on the sub so don’t bring a lot.

This was such a cool experience. They make sure that no matter what side of the submarine you sit on that you get a great experience. The captain did a great job making sure we got to see as much as possible. It’s a smidge warm so if you have a personal fan you might want to pack it.

It was much better than I expected. We went down 140ft& saw 3 ship wrecks & numerous fish. You take a ferry ride to the submarine. The guides & captain are very informative.
