Chose Viator from past experiences which allowed us to customize what we were looking to see on an individual private basis. The big tours someone always runs late or gets lost and you never get the opportunity to see everything like you would on your own private tour.
Benjamin was an excellent tour guide taking us to the casibari rock formations, the gold mine ruins, Hooiberg steps, alto vista chapel, the beach resort area, a large supermarket to get native coffee, t shirts and water and even to Starbucks to get a friend a collectible coffee mug.
It was a full day well worth it with Benjamin.

Benjamin was amazing! He was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us history on the locations he took us to. He was on time, the van was comfortable, air conditioning, and he was talkative the whole tour. I would highly recommend!

After a late start, we had a good tour of most of the island. Our guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the island. He took us to a variety of sites and stopped anytime we wanted a picture. He got us back to the ship on time, per our request. The van was clean and air conditioned. This is a good tour for those that can't get around on their own or prefer something less active.

My wife and I try to tour anywhere we go so that we can navigate throughout our trip. This tour was amazing! Our guide (Benjamin) took his time and explained some many neat facts about the island. I felt like we covered the entire island. We actually took another tour (ATV) later in the week and recalled many of the facts that were shared on this tour. We also knew some additional information from this tour that our tour left out. The sites were amazing. It was certainly worth the extra for a private tour so that we didn't feel rushed as we had time to capture amazing photos.

Randy was great! Very knowledgeable and an obvious love for his country. The four hours flew by but we saw a lot. He dropped us at a lovely local beach and recommended a local restaurant which had delicious food.

Benjamin was a great guide and so knowledgeable. I let the company know ahead of time that we didn't need an the stops because of other tours we booked, so they planned a different route for us. It was great. It was great to be in air conditioning and have private visits to the different spots.

Benjamin was an excellent guide! He gave us a great overview of the island and lots of information on local history and traditions. We loved seeing Baby Beach and the California Lighthouse.
Only suggestion is for car to have cooler or waters and snacks.

Bonus for accommodating my party of 2 with less than 24hrs notice. It was a nice tour of the island but would have liked a little more history/backstory from our guide.

I had looked so forward to being in Aruba and this was a very disappointing experience. I especially did not appreciate the driver driving us through the slums of Aruba and telling us about the alcohol and drug issues in Aruba and we had teens in the car. Gave us no reason to return to Aruba and I have always heard such amazing things about Aruba, this was not our experience. Total waste of money (wish I could get money back) and time. When Aruba go to the beach.

It is clear that even though we did explain the details of the tour to you prior, at the end, it was not what you had expected. We would have loved to know prior what your specific wishes would have been and we would have gladly adapted the tour to your specific liking as we have done for many other guests, should these requests have been reasonable.
We have already gone ahead and processed the refund as you requested as a token of our sincere apology for not having met your expectations.
Rest assured that should we have known of your dissatisfaction right after the tour, we would have refunded this earlier.

Randy was awesome! Very friendly, fantastic English, and a huge knowledge of the island. He was prompt and courteous arriving at our hotel where we started our journey. He taught us so much that we otherwise would not have learned, which we loved. We drove around to many points on the island (pretty much the entire thing!). Along the way we made multiple stops. Randy was awesome and took our picture at every stop! The only thing to be aware of is timing, as there was not enough time to do the activities. But it did give us an idea of where to visit along the island. It was well worth doing the private tour!

We were traveling to Aruba with my father who has a hard time walking. Randy was very patient with us, taking time to help him out of the van and allowing him to stay in the van with A/C if he was not physically able to view the sites we stopped at. Randy gave a thorough history of the island and answered any questions we threw at him. Randy was generous with getting out at sites and taking family pictures for us! We were lucky enough to even see a stray Donkey! I highly recommend The Private Island tour and would hope you are lucky enough to have Randy as your guide!

Benjamin was our tour guide. He was amazing. We went around the entire island, which is exactly what we wanted to see. He showed us the tourist area and the residential areas, the interior and the beach sides. He provided us with history and answered any questions we had, including the questions from the kids.
