Milton was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable! We had a great time learning more about Aruba and its history, including the story behind the colorful buildings. We went on a Monday when there were no cruise ships, so the city was relatively calm. We even got the chance to meet Prime Minister Eman, who was very nice and took pictures with us! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Aruba.
Michelle was a delightful guide. It was great to learn the history and have recommendations for local museums to check out. The pre-tour messages were helpful for finding parking and the starting point.
Evi was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a lovely way to explore Oranjestad and learn about Aruba’s history.
It is a great overview of the history of Aruba. Beautiful historic buildings. Very fun tour and knowledgeable guide.
A terrific experience! Learned so much about Aruban history and culture. Evie was absolutely knowledgeable and wonderful. She is someone who was enthusiastic about sharing all she knows about her Aruban culture and heritage.
It wasn't the worst tour we've been on, but it wasn't a particularly memorable one either.
We noticed that our tour guide (forgot his name, but he is originally from the Netherlands) did not take us to Wilhelmina Park or show us the statue there, even though it was listed as part of the itinerary. There were also several statues and interesting structures along the way that he did not explain unless someone specifically asked about them.
At the National Archaeological Museum of Aruba, we were told we were free to walk around and explore on our own. However, I think most of the group assumed that we were supposed to stay on the first floor because our guide remained there. He was busy on his phone making a call, and eventually some of us went upstairs to explore the second floor ourselves. When we did, he essentially rushed us through and told us it was time to move on to the next destination.
The tour is advertised as lasting approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, but our tour ended after only 1 hour and 57 minutes. Overall, the experience felt very rushed, and unfortunately, it did not seem like our guide was particularly engaged or interested in providing the full tour experience.
I understand that guiding tours can be repetitive and tiring, especially when you're giving the same information day after day. But we all have to do what we get paid for - a tour is being paid for and advertised with a specific itinerary and duration, so we should receive the experience that was promised. July 2026
Left a tip since we were a small group, but he did not deserve it.
Also heads up - the old clock tower was under construction with no access at this time.
This walking tour with Milton was fun and educational! Milton was great at explaining cultural and historical facts that helped paint the vibrant history of Aruba. Only recommendation would be to have breaks in the tour for a quick sit so bring comfy shoes. Aruba Ariba!

Milton was phenomenal. He knew so much about the history of the island and how it got to be what it is today. As a born and raised Aruban he was able to give us real information from his experiences. He was great and very informative.
There was plenty of history shared, needed more water on this tour as it is a morning tour. But guide was exxellent.
If this tour happened how it was supposed to, it was worth the price, but it definitily wasnt. I am rating this 2 stars only because the parts that we actually experienced the tour guide did explain and he was knowledgeable and nice.
However, he arrived late, we couldnt here the first 10 mts of explanation and we were just 2 couples and 2 small kids. He did apologize of his voice but could have been better prepared with something to help or stand us in a quieter location.
The two snacks were not from the Coco Plum Restaurant they were from a small place that was not restaurant quality. They were just ok.
Dissapointed at the itinerary that way paid for and didnt get. We did not visit the Historical Museum even though it was open and we did not visit the Wilhelmina Park as advertised. This was more of a standing tour where you do a circle and then you are done. Again the tour guide was nice and was knowledgeable in the parts explained but we were not taken to the locations in the itinerary and overall very underwhelming experience. The price is way to much because you are not getting what is advertised/promised. $80 for two plus tip. We could have walked more on our own covered more ground and googled each building along the way if that is the experience we were going to have.

Milton was our tour guide. He was personable and knowledgeable. He shared the history and culture of Aruba. You could tell he loves Aruba. I would definitely recommend this tour.
Food tasting is two fried foods from the same shop. More of a standing tour than walking tour. Tour guide was difficult to hear and understand. Would strongly recommend considering a different option for touring downtown.

The local tastings included during the tour are indeed traditional fried snacks, as this is one of the most authentic and popular ways these local specialties are prepared in Aruba. While both tastings are served at the same family-owned location, they are two different traditional snacks that are very representative of our local cuisine.
We also understand your comments regarding the standing portions of the tour. As a historical walking tour through downtown Oranjestad, several stops are intentionally made throughout the city so our guides can share the stories, history, and cultural background of the sites being visited in a more engaging and interactive way.
We sincerely apologize if at times the guide was difficult to hear or understand, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention as we are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.

Our tour guide Ava, was lovely and attentive to all group participants. She was filled in interesting stories and historical facts. We learned a lot which is always important to us when we travel. She was also mindful of stopping in shady spots, ensuring all had water to remain hydrated and stopped for a bathroom break. Thank you.
A very easy walk in Oranjestad. Our guide shared a lot of local history and information. This area of Oranjestad is being restored so several buildings are colorfully painted. More friendly neighborhood walk than formal history class, so enjoy the time with real Aruban perspective.

The tour guide was great. The distance we walked was minimal. The town was quiet but the architecture was beautiful.
Marisa was fantastic. Very knowledgeable. She provided so much information in a relatable way. History, culture, interesting facts. It was just the right amount of time.
Really enjoyed this and learned a lot about the history of the island. Our tour guide Hazel was excellent and gave a lot of local color in addition to the historical details. Also enjoyed sampling some of the local cuisine! One thing to be aware of, the address they tell you is the starting and ending point of the tour is actually the ending point. Start point is the sign at the roundabout right behind the Renaissance hotel which is about a block away Overall a great way to spend a couple of hours in the downtown area! Recommended

I wasn’t sure what to expect from the tour however it exceeded my expectations. This tour was a great start to my birthday. Michelle did an amazing job. She was very knowledgeable and shared so much rich history about Aruba. It was very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We actually continued to explore even after the tour had ended. The tour wasn’t too long and it wasn’t boring at all. I would encourage anyone to try it out and if possible request Michelle as your tour guide!!!

Marisa was very knowledgeable about everything Aruba. Gave us a good understanding of the history of the happy island.
This is a nice, casual walk with good information about a few blocks of area. Our tour included water and two food appetizers and air conditioned bathroom stop. There was a little bit of waiting for the food due to another group ahead of us. Our guide was from the town and knowledgeable about it's history and important land marks.
Tour guide Michelle was excellent very knowledgeable. Got to see everything described in the Tour. Food samples included with Tour were good plus a bottle of water.
Only issue was Tour description included pick up at your location and drop off at Tour starting location. Less than week prior to Tour received notice that in 2026 pick up no longer included. We were told to take a taxi or bus. The night before the Tour we received an email advising us that a taxi would pick us up.
Yvonne was a wonderful and very knowledgeable tour guide. The tour around Oranjestad was extremely informative and she answered all of our questions. Great experience!
