We had a great experience on the Private Turtle Spotting Snorkeling Excursion in Aruba. We saw so many turtles and were sorry when our time in the water came to an end. Our private guide, Marcus was friendly and professional, and we felt safe the entire time. The snorkeling equipment was provided, and the edited video was a nice keepsake. A fun and memorable activity while visiting Aruba!

Wonderful experience swimming with the turtles, but need to be comfortable in snorkeling gear and a decent swimmer as current was very strong heading back to shore and we had to venture fairly far out to see any turtles. Marcus was awesome and our video turned out fantastic! Great memories were made.

Had an awesome time and saw lots of turtles. Ray could not have been a better guide. Very knowledgable (I learned a lot about the area and about turtles) , professional, and personable. He was very reassuring and comforting in his approach. Highly recommend this tour. 5 star all the way.

Incredible experience! We had a bunch of turtles come up for air right next to us. I’m super excited to see the video we get- I think it’s gonna be a good one. I even had a swarm of fish swim up by me. Our tour guide Ray was AWESOME. He was very kind and informative. Although I was pregnant and super nervous, I felt safe and had a great time. Ray noticed I was looking a bit sick and offered to have me relax on a floaty and pulled me back to shore on the way back.

An Amazing Experience not to be missed!

This private tour is a must. Take a short taxi ride to Tres Trapi Beach. You swim with the guide using snorkel equipment right from the beach. The guide, Ray, was amazing helping us feel comfortable swimming out a little distance and explained everything perfectly. We saw lots of turtles during our 11 am tour. Squid and a starfish, too. The guide will call a taxi for you to get back to your hotel. We waited a long time and got one that was nearby at another small beach. The beach is very small and it's not really a beach to lay out at so only the people in your group who are snorkeling and going on the tour should go. My friends and husband are in their late 60s and are physically fit to snorkel and this trip was perfect. Would recommend for anyone who loves the ocean and snorkeling and loves turtles. A rare opportunity since many islands do not have these types of tours.

Group of 4 of us enjoyed the turtle spotting snorkel. They supple equipment and pool noodles. We saw many turtles. We were in the water about 1 hour. You access the roped off area at Tres Trapi beach, no boat involved. You supply your own transportation to the beach, which was pretty busy the day we were there. They capture video of you viewing the turtles, then email to you a few days later. Fun activity.

First off, Alan is a great guy and did a very good job. The Address given, 105 Tres Trapi beach is not the Underdog Divers building. It is abandoned and under restoration. If you arrive early, just wait, they will show. My advice to Underdog would be to communicate by phone to explain the meeting situation, because there are no signs for a designated meeting place. Snorkeling was awesome, water is clear and comfortable. Beach is something to see. Thanx Alan!

This was our first time on this excursion and it was my favorite! We have been to Aruba several times. Our guide Marcus was outstanding! He helped spot the turtles and knew when it was time to move on and find the next - the time flew by and we saw several turtles! One came up for air right next to me and it swam along the surface for quite a while and I swam right next to it - Amazing!! The video was great too! We had an amazing experience with Underdog Divers for our turtle spotting and snorkeling tour in Aruba. We loved our guide, Ray, who was very knowledgeable about finding the turtles plus very funny and entertaining! We swam out to where the turtles were located and after floating above them eventually they would come up for air right by us! If you enjoy the beach, swimming, and wildlife I could not recommend this trip more. Marcus was so quick to find sea turtles for us to take pictures and videos of. He was also so friendly and gave my friend and I some information about the island for the rest of our trip. The water was so pretty and the swim wasn't too bad. However, if you're scared of deeper water I probably wouldn't book this.

An iconic Aruban experience

Our family ranged in age from 5 to 78, and we all had a great time. We were glad to snorkel without taking a boat ride; after a few minutes getting used to our equipment and swimming with noodles we were ready to start. Because our meeting spot was a bit crowded, our guide walked with us to another beach less than 10 minutes away, and more inviting. [Keep in mind, the 5 yr. old wore his own goggles and life vest. He piggy backed on his parents’ shoulders and still saw the beautiful turtles and fish.] Our video (which we received by WhatsApp) really captured the excitement of our excursion. This was the highlight of our Aruba trip for our teens, their parents and grandparents!

Marcus did a great job getting us into the water, snorkeling out to the turtles, and directing us to make a customized video! If you choose this awesome activity, be certain you can swim a distance to see the turtles and have an average swimming ability. He gave us floaties, to guarantee we felt safe, and didn’t need to dive. We were so pleasantly surprised to have up close moments with the turtles, as they would swim up for air.
