Your tour departs from the Octopus Aruba beach hut, located on Palm Beach behind the Holiday Inn. Please walk through the lobby of the Holiday Inn until you reach the beach area. Make a left on the footpath and you will see us on your right. Check in time is 4:30PM & boarding time is 4:45PM.

Itinerary
Begin your sunset cruise directly at the boarding pier just behind the Palm Beach Holiday Inn hotel. Once the group has settled on board, you’ll set sail in the late afternoon to enjoy the spectacular final hours of the day.
Spend two hours on board taking in the sunset views, enjoying the open cocktail bar with unlimited drinks and appetizers, and chatting with the captain and crew. You can choose between cushioned seating in the sun or in the shade on the 40-foot (12-meter) trimaran, all perfectly positioned to snap photos.
After the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll cruise back to the departure point and disembark in Palm Beach.

- Boarding takes place via a spacious shuttle boat (for up to 15 people) that transports guests to the catamaran. This shuttle, like all our vessels, undergoes inspection every six months to ensure safety and quality. From the beach hut (where check-in takes place), it’s a short 30-meter/ 98 foot ride to the catamaran. This area of the sea is as calm as a lake, with little to no waves throughout the year

A 2 hour sunset sail on a lovely catamaran! The staff was fabulous! We had to board a dinghy to get out to the catamaran, and they were very kind to help my mother who isn’t great with climbing. We were able to secure a seat, however, the seats did fill up and about 12 people had to sit on the nets. The appetizers were great and they kept the drinks flowing!! Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a sunset sail in Aruba!

This Octopus Sunset Cruise was exceptional on all accounts. The clear directions about safety, the great hospitality and genuine care given by all of the crew made this trip the best I have been on so far. A special shout out goes to the magician who entertained us with card tricks like I have never seen before. The snacks were delicious and the drinks kept coming. We had a blast.

When you first step on the boat, you are served Aruba Arriba drink. Crew was very nice, helpful and funny. The small bites kept coming and were very good. This is not a party boat. Liked the fact is a smaller amount of people which made it more intimate and relaxing. Sunset was pretty. Kite surfer came by and did some aerial tricks. Thanks to Martin and his entire crew!!

We had a fun and entertaining time on the Octopus catamaran. The sun was eluding us until sunset, when it didn't disappoint! Drinks and apps were good and the wind surfer was an added touch to the evening.

The sunset tour is well worth it! We booked it for our last evening after reading the description and reviews as a way to avoid a typical loud party boat atmosphere. This did not disappoint. Pickup in the smaller boats were organized, and the atmosphere in the large tour boat was welcoming, lively, and fun. The music mix set the mood for what turned out to be an amazing sail. The crew were engaging, but not pushy and let everyone enjoy the view in their own manner. If you're lucky, you might get the acrobatically skilled cameo of the kite-surfer which was very entertaining! Heading back to the starting point we also got a rare glimpse up close of a large sea turtle, which provided the perfect end to the tour and to a lovely trip to Aruba.

Don’t waste your money. Tour operator is very rude. They will find a way to keep your money but have you miss the ride.

To ensure all guests enjoy their tour as scheduled, we have a strict boarding policy. Our check-in instructions are sent immediately after booking and again 24 hours before the tour. They clearly state:
Check-in: 30 minutes before departure
Boarding: 15 minutes before departure
Boarding closes 5 minutes before departure
We understand it is frustrating to miss a tour. However, we must depart on time out of respect for all of our guests, many of whom have other commitments after the cruise, including returning to their cruise ships or other scheduled activities.
We regret that we were unable to accommodate you after boarding had closed, but we must apply the same policy fairly to every guest.

We booked our sunset sailing tour with Octopus Aruba through the Viator app, and the entire process was incredibly easy from start to finish. Booking was simple, check-in was quick and hassle free, and before we knew it, we were aboard and ready to sail.
The captain and crew were absolutely awesome. Maurice, Gino, Tito, and Chaka (hopefully I got everyone’s names right!) brought great energy and made the trip so much fun. The vibes were perfect the entire evening. From the moment we stepped on board until we returned to the dock, the crew was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making sure everyone had a great time.
The drinks and appetizers were excellent. I don’t think I ever had an empty cup or an empty belly the whole trip! The crew was constantly checking on guests and keeping the good times rolling.
The tour itself was exactly as advertised a solid two hours on the water. We cruised up and down the beautiful Aruba coastline, taking in some incredible views. The crew even took sunset photos for us, which was a nice touch and gave us some great memories to bring home. As a bonus, a kite surfer unexpectedly stopped by the boat, which made for a fun and unique moment.
The only thing I was hoping to see was a sea turtle, but no luck this time, hopefully on our next trip!
Overall, this was a fantastic experience and well worth the money. Great crew, great drinks, great food, amazing views, and an all-around fun atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend Octopus Aruba Sailing, Snorkeling & Private Tours to anyone visiting Aruba and looking for a memorable time on the water. We’ll definitely be back! 🌅⛵🍹🐙

Great guides, great ride. So many hors d'oeuvres! Unlimited free drinks. *** Wear flip flops. Must take off shoes to board shuttle boat that takes you to catamaran. Quick step in the water. When booking, ask if you can be in shuttle 1, otherwise you will not have a chance at a great seat in the back.

Our tour guides- Chaco, Vincent, Vince, Chris, and Tom were exceptional. They were extremely attentive- our glasses were never empty whether drinking non alcoholic drinks or alcohol. They had great knowledge of the island and were willing to answer any questions. As an obese older woman I was nervous taking the dingy ride to the large boat but they assured me I would do fine and I truly did. I would recommend this experience and felt it was worth the money. The experience of being on the water was amazing. This crew made this excursion one of my favorites.

Very nice way to view the sunset and see the island from a different perspective! The crew were very attentive and kept drinks and snacks coming.
Enjoyed when their kite surfer friend rode by. Passed him a drink and took the glass back when he was done. He has had some practice in this move! 😉
