It was great and easy...

It was great and easy going. Our guide was great. Quick tour around Albufeira and then to the stables. The ride is for all experience levels. If you have none, you ride slow all the way with an option to go faster if you have experience.

A really good group of people running it, and well-managed on site. Their re-arranging the pick-up point the night before was a little bump in an otherwise very smooth journey.

Fab tour and ride

The horses were calm and gave my 9yr old confidence to canter on our ride (she’s a capable rider). The riding guides were so friendly, and kind. Jonny gave us a great pre tour, with loads of local facts, but clearly was a horse rider/lover too which added to the fun.

Beautiful Horseback Ride!

The horseback riding through was lovely! The horses were very sweet and they are able to adjust the ride according to the riding level of the group. Our group included people from 5 years old to people in their late seventies and all were able to enjoy. You cannot ride on the beach during the high tourist season in the summer, but the ride is beautiful regardless. We saw many different kinds of birds, and I think I saw a flamingo flying. We arrived to our tour meeting spot late and were most interested in the horseback riding, so we did not do much "hidden gems" viewing. We were staying in the area so we had seen many of the beaches and rock formations already on other tours and hikes and were eager to get to the stables. Ricardo (I think!) our guide was also very kind and had great suggestions of things to do, and where to eat. He grew up and lives just a few minutes from Quinta da Saudade so was very knowledgable about the area and interesting to talk to! Our second guide (Paul I think!) was also great and came on the ride with us to help lead our youngest on his horse. We had a wonderful time!
