We totally enjoyed this tour. Marcia was the perfect guide, with her high level of enthusiasm and recounting of events, I wished she was my history teacher in school!
A lot of amazing history. Engaging and good tour guide. Wish we could have stopped at more of the places.
I learned a lot more than expected from the experience. The tour guide was great! Super knowledgeable, charismatic, and passionate about the subject. The trolley ended up being warmer than expected in September, so please dress with that in mind.
Our tour guide Nancy was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We learned a lot about the area and the start of the Revolutionary War.
Great tour guide and safe. However the trolley was really old and uncomfortable and it would have been better to get out and walk around at more stops.
Be ready for a very informative tour! Excellent guide who gave details beyond what was written in our school textbooks!
Very informative about our history, given in an entertaining way. A lot of information in a short time. If you sit in the back of the trolley, a little hard to hear when AC fan goes on.
Good guide & driver. A delightful experience. I will not enter characters just fill space. Shame on you, Viator.
There was a lot of information about the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Not much off and on-only one stop.
An awesome history lesson!!!!! It’s been 50 years since I spent a lot of time with the Boy Scouts it brought back some great memories
Tour was outstanding. Very, very informative and entertaining. Had a wonderful time and would do it again.
Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and was able to see all of our questions! Very good storyteller
Very engaging and informative tour guide. A great place to start and decide where you want to go from here.
Fabulous tour guide, Claire, gave us in depth information about the start of the Revolutionary War. We knew the basics, but her incredible anecdotes and descriptions made us feel as if we were there.
Excellent tour guide - learned so much! Trolley car ride was good, but went by so many places so fast it was hard to get any pictures. (but that’s not what the tour was mainly about.) wish the air-conditioning was a little bit stronger, but does not diminish the experience. Thanks, daddy daddy I’ll go get. I’m sorry.
Very enthusiastic and informative tour guide. Made history come alive for our 12 yr old grandson and us!
Jerry our guide was so fun and informative. It was like stepping back in time. I’m so glad so much of the past has been so thoroughly preserved.
Extremely knowledgeable guide. Driver was friendly. The 90 minutes went by quickly and we learned so much during that time about the Patriots and troup movement from Lexington to Concord.
Casey, our tour guide, did a great job. Knowledgeable of the history and kept us engaged with her retelling of events. Would recommend a longer tour, perhaps two hours, and adding in another hop-off stop. So much to see and we went too quickly through some sights.
Our guide, Nancy, was OUTSTANDING! Her depth of knowledge and skill at presenting the beginnings of American history was inspiring.
The tour guide was excellent. She had so much information to share with us and she did it often times in a humorous way.
Very informative, was able to see what the guide was talking about. The tour really helped explain the start of the American Revolution.
Not really an air conditioned trolley. Door was left open for long stretches so the car would get very warm and the a/c was not strong enough to cool it down. You would think they would try to keep it closed until someone needed to get on so the car trolley would stay cool. Not well managed
Narrative had a bitter tone constantly making the point common history got it wrong. Very divisive Concord vs Lexington and where did the revolution start. What matters is that people from all the towns fought the British army. They were united in their cause. Tell the history with out the “we did it not them”.
It was very well organised, the staff were extremely friendly and the tour guide was very informative.
I highly recommend anyone who wishes to learn about the Revolutionary War that created the USA to check it out.
Lexington is a beutiful picture perfect town and I was made very welcome. Top marks 10/10
Our tour guide was the best! So knowledgeable and taught us so much about our history and the people who made it possible.
I believe they can do better. You keep asking for a review. Well, the trolley's speaker didn't work, and the door wouldn't shut, and the air conditioner didn't work except to make a loud noise. We were not able to take the tour and as of yet we have not received our promised refund. Now we will have to dispute the charges.
A great tour with a very animated and funny tour guide, Jerry! The driver was great too! Very informative. Both my husband and teen boys could not believe it was “only 90 minutes.” They could have hung out for more!
Owen was a wonderful, knowledgeable, interesting guide. Highly recommend this tour of Lexington and Concord.
This tour was great! We enjoyed riding around and listening to the history! I also enjoyed getting out at the bridge.
If you're interested in an entertaining 90-minute tour and overview of the Lexington/Concord activities that helped trigger the American Revolution, I recommend this tour. It's low-key but entertaining.
