A Must Do Trip In Iceland!

This Viator trip is well organized. We started our trip at The Blue Lagoon which was awesome, as a lot of the other tours end with it, meaning it’s packed with people at the end of the day. We almost had the place to ourselves. As it was starting to get busy, we were headed to our next destination. If you’ve researched the Golden Circle, then this tour hits all of the highlights. You’re given plenty of time in each location, but you do need to be punctual in your return to the bus. Toby was our tour guide, and he provided lots of history and information. Would highly the this tour.

A Wonderful Afternoon with Jenny!

An exceptionally informative and fun food tour of Reykjavik with Jenny! She was very personable and knowledgeable, we had so much fun with her. We had 5 stops, all serving delicious local delicacies. One of which was a very popular hot dog stand. One of the best hot dogs I've ever had. We also had a stop where we sampled the notorious fermented Greenland shark. Jenny made it such a fun and memorable experience. I highly recommend this food tour. You will be very lucky to get Jenny as your guide. Skal!

Perfect pre travel spa experience

We loved Sky Lagoon!! It was a perfect pre-travel experience. The infinity pool lagoon perched over the ocean was gorgeous and we spent a lot of time in the warm water. The seven step ritual was lovely, especially the sauna with ocean view, salt scrub, steam room and yummy elixir. I also enjoyed the waterfall and cold plunge.

Northern Lights !!!

The pickup point was easy to find and only 5 min walk from my hotel . The tour guide was punctual . The mini coach bus was comfortable. There is a bathroom stop in the beginning- use it because that’s the only time you will be able to. They provide wool blankets which are so cozy. They also give you hot chocolate with a pastry which was delicious . The guide kept us informed at all times . He was honest from the start saying it’s not a guarantee to find the lights but we’re gonna try our best and have fun while searching. Seeing the stars was amazing. We finally got a glimpse of the northern lights it was faint but it was still there and that was enough for me . The guide took our professional photos with the lights and the photos came out amazing . We posed for many pictures. I received the photos in less than 2 days which was great. It was truly a magical experience . Book it !

An efficient way to see...

An efficient way to see the South Coast. The tour was packed with activities, so time was limited at the stops. Our driver Gulli was friendly and knowledgeable, keeping us entertained with stories about the history of Iceland, current life in Iceland, and even a traditional folk song to wake us up as we approached our first stop. The only downside was that the 19-passenger minibus felt cramped since all seats were filled. Otherwise, it was a great tour.

We had a great experience...

We had a great experience on this tour. The bus was comfortable and our navigator, Thora(sp), was awesome! She was very funny and knowledgeable. Our bonus stop to feed some Icelandic horses was so great! Finishing the day at the Blue Lagoon was the best final touch.

Lights that changes lives

Our tour guide Christian exhibited an immense amount of knowledge regarding The Northern Lights. The information was not only educational but also was critical in directing how and where we should go in order to get the best chance of seeing this phenomenon. And sure enough, he delivered as we were able to see a spectacular show of dancing neon lights. Admittedly the tour demands patience as the auroras can be faint and not visible to the naked eye, but Christian’s astute readings of certain atmospheric metrics made him confident that we could see something if we went to a certain area. I am so glad we trusted him because seeing the auroras was one of my favorite parts of our Iceland trip. I should note Christian was also humorous and pleasant, which made the waiting game feel less like a chore and instead like an amusing bonding moment. We didn’t get back to our hotel until 2am, but the experience was worth staying so late. I recommend that anyone who is in Iceland during auroras season do this life-changing tour! -Trevor & Naoki

One of our favorite...

One of our favorite experiences in Iceland. The glacier feels like another planet and zooming around on the snow mobiles is such a fun and unique experience. If you book for two you will share a snow mobiles but you get the opportunity to sway halfway, which also gives you both a turn to look around and enjoy the surroundings.
