What are people saying about Krakow

Worth it!
Excellent day with lots of stops, information and fun. Scenery is worth the ride alone. Laura (guide) and George (driver) were exceptional. The town is seen at the top and bottom and is worth exploring. The bath and spa resort was top notch. Every trip is different though. Last year our time at the Shepard's hut was better (with authentic garb to wear for pictures). The company says it'll pick up/drop off at all hotels, that's not true, but they do find a close location for all.

Bridget the Tour Guide
Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau was one of the most moving and emotional experiences I’ve ever had. It’s a place that everyone should visit at least once to truly understand the scale of the atrocities that took place and to honour the memory of those who suffered.
Our guide, Bridget, was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and respectful throughout the tour. She shared the history in such a powerful and engaging way, helping us understand not just the facts, but the human stories behind them. Her guidance made the experience even more meaningful, and she answered every question with care and sensitivity.
Although it was a deeply heartbreaking visit, I’m grateful to have experienced it. It is something that will stay with me forever, and I cannot recommend this tour and Bridget highly enough.

Our tour started in the...
Our tour started in the Salt Mine and ended with Auschwitz & Birkenau. Our driver was not the greatest, but the guides at each place were insightful and excellent. We had been warned that it very difficult to do both sites in one day, but our group of 5, age ranges 52 - 60 had no issues at all with the number of steps and walking. It is a long day, but we ordered the lunch box and there is plenty of time between the sites to rest. We had limited time in Krakow, so the combined tour was right for us. Whether you do them separately or together, both are a must do.

Excellent Tour
The tour guide is very knowledgeable. Be prepared for a lot of walking, especially at Birkenau. Wish we had more time for a leisurely lunch and time to visit the bookstore there. I’m still astonished at the magnitude of the atrocities that took place at Auschwitz and Birkenau. Loved the guide mentioning that the Bible needs an eleventh commandment, “Don’t be indifferent”.

Long day worth every penny- highly recommend!
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide Michael was the best!! He explained everything, answered questions and made everyone feel special. He truly cared about giving us a great experience. The Salt Mine was amazing. The remembrance museums were very sad but definitely important to visit. There was a lot of walking but sufficient time to eat in between stops. Lunch (on our own) was also good with excellent value at a delicious restaurant picked by Michael in advance. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Michael for looking after us so well.

Well worth it!
Communication was excellent from start to finish. Despite our pick up driver “over sleeping” I’m still giving a 5* review because I appreciated the honesty, and the communication and speed in which this was then resolved was great.
Tour guide was also fantastic. She had great knowledge and respect for the area - and we liked the fact she was strict on taking pictures as they did feel inappropriate in many instances bar a few where it was allowed. I thought the tour would feel too long - but it really didn’t. It’s well worth taking this tour - very humbling and informative experience.
I don’t usually like tours - but if I take another one - these guys will be the 1st place I will look.

Great tour, wanted more time.
We really enjoyed this excursion. The mine is amazing, a must see! Once you enter the mine, you will be underground for a long time. There are a lot of stairs, and our watch says we walked 4.9 miles. Our excursion was listed as 4 hours. We did not have enough time to do the mine tour, and the museum tour. I would have liked the excursion to be longer so we could have had more time in the mine or to explore the town. You will either exit the mine close to where you entered the mine or across town. You don’t have any chose in where you exit. You line up to exit, and depending on what elevator is assigned to your group that is where you go. This added a lot of time to our tour that was just walking to the elevator, and then trying to find our way back to the parking lot to meet our group. We had about 15 minutes to grab something to eat and get back to the car.

Incredible tour!!
Absolutely incredible tour from start to finish. The tour guides are insanely knowledgeable and took their time to do the stories justice. Auschwitz was incredibly sad as expected and hard to reflect back on what innocent people had to endure. On a more positive note the salt mine was fantastic and well organised. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough

Such an amazing and humbling experience.
Such an amazing and humbling experience.
Pick up from and back to the door of your hotel in a very comfortable van with full air conditioning (and heating as we all got soaked in the storm and had wet clothes on the return journey). Friendly but private excursion, maximum of 8 people in the van, which makes it more of a personal experience.
Our tour guide at the memorial was exceptionally knowledgeable and really brought another layer to the experience.
Only slight snag is we booked a tour for 12:00 but were told it would be a 1pm pick up but we did book at the very last minute (night before) so this could be the reason why.
I would absolutely recommend this to everyone visiting this area!

Unforgettably amazing!
The highlight of our trip to Krakow. Our tour guide Mirek, and driver Lukas were amazing. Communication prior to the trip was fantastic and pick up was on time. We were picked up at half 8, and were back at our hotel by 8pm. It’s a long day, but totally worth it, highly recommend!

Zakopane day trip.
Our guide for the day was Oskar, we were picked up outside our hotel and driven to Zakopane with a few stops along the way one of them being the wooden village. Zakopane is beautiful, we took the cable car ride at the top of were we went to see the Tatra mountains. We also did cheese and vodka tasting, overall it was a great trip and would highly recommend 😊

Great tour, would go back
Overall experience was great, bus arrived on time, great communication via WhatsApp and the Viator app. Journey time to Auschwitz was reasonable, was warm early in the morning but bus had a small flow of air con available which took the edge off.
The guides from start to finish were great, very helpful and informative.
The only downside is we felt a little rushed around the first part of the tour, this may have been because the tour guide following behind us was right on our tail every step of the way not giving much time for us tourists to view what was on display. Our guide did cram a lot of information as best as they could given the situation but we would have liked more time to take in everything in the room had to offer.
We will go back but likely on our own to roam the grounds at our own leisure, we weren't aware that we could have gone back later in the afternoon to roam freely as we would have done this so if you are reading this I would recommend getting a mid afternoon tour then after Birkenau 2, get the shuttle bus back to Birkenau 1 to have more time on your own or you could walk back as it's not that far.
Overall, I would recommend the tour.

With its medieval architecture, thriving nightlife, and storied past, Krakow often feels like a contradiction. Krakow tours help you understand the city's complex, vibrant soul. Join an expert guide to hear local history on a tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town and Wawel Castle, learn more about the darker spans of history on a tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, or live it up while bar-hopping in Krakow’s hottest neighborhoods. No matter what you choose, Krakow tours can help you see the city through a new lens.
