Better than I imagined it could be by 1000 percent

If I could give this 10 stars I would! It really was THAT good. For a lifelong Mozart and music lover like myself, this was something I really didn't expect - it exceeded my expectations well and truly. It was light, frivolous, fun, lively, elegant and masterful - just like Mozart! The 3-course dinner was enjoyable, the pace of the evening was perfect, and the baroque hall was gorgeous with amazing acoustics. The performers were incredible, talented, perfectionist, in costume and engaging. Couldn't fault anything! Set in Salzburg in this beautiful setting, it was like a dream and I didn't want it to end. Thank you - it was worth every cent.

Superb Tour

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on! The guide was hilarious, fun, and full of interesting facts about the movie and area. The sites were wonderful, everyone was so joyful, and the schedule was seamless and so organized. There was even entertainment on the way back to Munich which didn’t leave room for boredom. This was a compact tour up to Eagle’s Nest, with a very knowledgeable guide (Johannes), who made sure I (as a disabled person) was fine at every point. The tour was as advertised and I have no complaints, but I wish there was one that was slightly longer to take in the museum. We stopped for lunch on the way back; the apple strudel was delicious!

Tour guide was excellent, provided lots of information along the trip and the stops were very nice. Our guide took the time to show us where to go and get our tickets for the view point in Hallstatt, gave recommendations an and took pictures. Our guide communicated with us before and throughout the trip to let us know time of arrival and departure Hallstatt was amazing and learning about the lakes was interesting.

Is Hallstatt worth visiting? Yes it definitely is!

Great idea to get going early to Hallstatt - 08:15 - as by the time we left the place was overcrowded with more tourists. This was a bus tour, no toilet on bus, WCs at the destination, all paying ones of course. Curtains on the windows BUT passengers on the way home shut them to block the sun, then fell asleep, so we were unable to see what the tour guide was pointing out - so annoying. Apart from that, this is a beautiful heritage listed village south east of Salzburg, 1.5 hours away. We were in luck as the newly renovated funicular and skywalk had just opened the previous day - well worth the trip up the mountain for the view @E29. Plenty of places for food etc; best quality souvenirs at the Skywalk shop - lots of salt themed items but good quality. And bus departs strictly on time - it does not wait if you're late back. But there's a train over the other side of the lake that goes back to Salzburg just in case. Tour commentary intersting, guide Max very knowledgeable.

Sensational Music Appreciation

We started with a set course dinner at the top in the fortress overlooking the valley and mountains. The food was very good and the service was impeccable. Then we moved to the concert at a higher level in the Fortress, which had views overlooking the old town and the city lights of Salzburg. The concert was outstanding and would highly recommend not to miss the Mozart concert.

Whenever I travel overseas to a new city I always book a walking tour. It’s the best way to get to get the highlights and also a few recommendations from the guide. Mozart magic! Chamber music at the top of the Hohensalzburg Fortress!

Incredible experience. Easy to take the funicular train to the Fortress. Go a bit early so you can walk around. Wear flat shoes for stairs, cobblestones and sandy pathways. The concert is at the very top of the Fortress in a gorgeous room with amazing acoustics for chamber music. The artists are so very talented. We purchased a sparkling white wine to enjoy during the concert.

Maroine was outstanding. We began our time in Salzburg with his tour, and it was the perfect introduction to the city. He thoughtfully showed us all the key sights, explaining not just what we were seeing, but the history and stories behind each place. As non-German speakers, we were a bit intimidated by the language barrier at first, but Maroine immediately put us at ease. He was patient, welcoming, and generous with his knowledge—offering excellent recommendations and graciously answering all of our questions. By the end of the tour, we didn’t just feel informed—we felt confident.
