Milo was a fantastic guide. He is knowledgeable and a great driver. We are so glad we did this first thing so we could get the layout of Rome. Plus we got recommendations for things to go back and see in more detail and places to eat

Wonderful tour! Loved being able to see so much on our short stay in Rome! It was a very hot day so being able to get from site-to-site without having to walk was great! Our guide was informative and even gave great recommendations for dinner and gelato after the tour!

We arrived at our location to meet our guide. Ten minutes before the scheduled event I received a text that the tour guide couldn’t make it. Explanation was the Vespa parade had streets closed and couldn’t arrive in a reasonable time. What struck us as odd the three other tour operators showed and provided their tours. We are waiting on a credit for the tour. Fingers crossed.

We are sorry that this situation affected your experience and would like to clarify the circumstances.
On the day of your tour, unexpected road closures related to the Vespa parade blocked access from our garage location and prevented the guide from reaching the meeting point within a reasonable timeframe. Unfortunately, this was outside of our control and we informed guests as soon as it became clear that operating the tour as scheduled would not be possible.
We understand your observation that other operators were able to run their tours; however, this does not mean access conditions were the same for everyone, as different operators depart from different garage locations and approach the meeting point from different directions.
As advised, the refund process was initiated and will be handled according to the booking platform procedures.
We regret the inconvenience and disappointment caused by this unexpected situation.

So we started at the meeting point which was crazy, we were there an hour before our time and there was loads of different tours arriving and going and it was so crowded we had no way of knowing where or who we were supposed to go with. As it approached our time I had to contact Viator who was telling me there was a tour guide there holding a sign but as my tickets were digital I had no way of knowing who the third party company was called. Supposedly they were calling my name but there was no way I would have heard them in that crowd. I had managed to see someone on the phone and I could hear her say she was on the phone to Viator so I approached her and it was in fact the person we were looking for. If I had not of messaged Viator and knew he was trying to phone them I would not have known I was looking for this person at all, So I found the American couple who were also booked for the same tour and brought them over to the tour. The tour started with a 20 min talk at the Colosseum which was supposed to be a drive by only (our colosseum tour was later in the week) and then they tried to seperate me my husband and our 2 kids to 2 seperate golf carts which I would not allow so in fairness they did accommodate. However, when the tour started we were stuck on the gold carts. They did not stop at the sights we were supposed to stop at. We just drove past or pulled up alongside but not allowed to get out to take any pictures for the 10-15mins described on the itinerary. The only place where we got to get out of the cart was the Pantheon (which we had booked to do later that day anyway). Otherwise we were stuck on the cart driving around. The tour guide was very good explaining all the sights as we were driving through the streets and traffic but again I would have liked to have some pictures to look back on. My 14 year old actually feel asleep on the golf cart at one stage from just sitting there so long. Not worth the money. It would be better to book a private golf cart tour if you actually want to get out and take a minute to take it all in instead of a quick drive by

We would like to clarify a few points regarding your experience.
Arrival at the meeting point is required 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time, as this is when the guide arrives and starts organizing the group. Arriving one hour in advance is not necessary and unfortunately the meeting area can be busy due to multiple tours operating nearby.
Additionally, the provider name is clearly displayed on every voucher and our guide carries visible company signage at the meeting point to help guests identify the correct group.
Regarding the itinerary, the tour did include stops at all locations listed in the description, with time allocated for guests to get out and take photos. During transit between scheduled stops, the guide also provided commentary and explanations about additional landmarks passed along the route, which is intended to enrich the experience.
We also accommodated your request to remain together in one golf cart after the initial seating arrangement.
From your comments, it seems there may have been an expectation of a private experience with extended time at each location. This tour is operated as a shared small-group experience, which follows a set route and timing in order to include all scheduled highlights.

Milo was an exceptional tour guide! He was prompt, professional, so knowledgeable and took really took good care of us. You could tell how passionate he is about Italian culture. He also took the time to answer questions and personalize the experience. He was a joy to be with, and he made our one day in Rome, so memorable. Our experience was not good. We waited for our cart tour who was unable to get to use due to road closures. After trying to call and text we had a hard time trying to get in touch. We then had to walk 15 min to finally meet up. Then our guide seemed very unhappy. We did get a extra half hour due to starting a half hour late, overall this was a very unpleasant experience for us and other guests who were on our tour.

On the day of your tour, unexpected road closures caused by a public protest affected access throughout the city and unfortunately delayed the start. Our guide stayed in contact, drove as close as possible to the meeting point, and then continued on foot to personally meet the group.
To make up for the delay, the tour duration was extended accordingly so guests still received the full experience. We understand that unexpected situations can be frustrating, but these circumstances were outside of our control and our team did its best to adapt and minimize the inconvenience.

Such a pity that there was so much traffic in Rome, it literally made the trip pointless as we couldn't really access areas in the timescale we had. Also, we were sat in the rear seats so with the noise of the traffic and the noise of the cart, we could just about hear our tour driver. He, by the way, was brilliant, and the above wasn't in his powers to change, i.e. traffic noise and congestion. I would suggest doing this tour later in the evening when the traffic is less and not at a standstill.

Regarding seating, as there were only five participants on the tour, guests had the flexibility to choose their preferred seats, and the rear seats were selected at the start of the experience. That said, we appreciate your comments regarding audibility and understand how traffic noise can make listening more difficult.

Malo was excellent guide. His English was first rate. I'm glad I did at beginning of my time in Rome as he offered an overview of things to see. Offered ideas to minimize wait time at each stop. This allowed me to modify my trip to maximize my time here.
Being small group he could customize his tour to meet a customer desire.
Bottomline next visit in RomeM will definitely book again.

Disappointed that we weren’t able to get stop time and photo opportunities at main attractions.
Accept traffic limitations but we were in a golf cart not a car, so this should make accessibility much less limiting. Paid a lot of $ for this tour and thought we’d get more. Driver was chatty but more interested in discussing himself than the tour. He actually told us the Trevi Fountain was closed for cleaning, I believe in an attempt to get us to not go there, but when we insisted he took us only to find it was fully functional. Appreciate the gesture of buying us a gelato from a friend on the trip, but would’ve preferred more time to see more of Rome as per the booking.
Would not recommend this tour.

We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations.
However, it is important to clarify that your group requested an early end to the tour due to another activity you had scheduled afterward. The tour normally lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours and began at 8:30 AM, but at your request we concluded it around 10:00–10:15 AM and dropped you off at a different location to help you make your next appointment on time.
As a result, the time available for additional stops and photo opportunities was reduced. Despite this adjustment, our driver did his best to accommodate your requests throughout the experience, including taking you to the Trevi Fountain when you asked to visit it.

A good way to see a city overview. We booked in the afternoon and were happy to take a break from walking. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We did not have a lot of opportunities to stop anywhere, but it was fun to see a lot of the sights.

I booked this golf cart tour way before I got into Rome. The day of the tour my husband and I met at the meeting spot looking for the driver only to get a call saying the tour can’t be completed because the Giro Italia bike race was going on and his cart was blocked and can’t be moved. Umm okay?!?? We are from the US and knew about the upcoming bike race. Weird to me that they had no clue and they could have easily called me up a few days in advance so I could have made a new booking for a golf cart tour. Last minute bookings were double the original prices. They said they could reschedule for me on a different day but we already have another tour booked the next day. Very unprofessional and major disappointment!!!

We understand your disappointment and sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.
We were fully aware of the cycling event taking place in Rome. However, on the day of the tour, unexpected access restrictions prevented us from reaching the garage where the golf cart was located. This specific situation was not communicated to us in advance and was therefore beyond our control.
As soon as we became aware that the tour could not be operated, we attempted to contact affected customers and offered alternative dates. We also provided a full refund. Unfortunately, we did not receive any response during the morning after the situation became clear.
While we understand your frustration, the cancellation resulted from unforeseen logistical restrictions rather than a lack of planning or professionalism on our part.

Difficult to find your guide in big crowds. Once you do find your guide it was a little chaotic but it was a great experience overall our guide Malo was fantastic very knowledgeable. Show up early so you have time to find out where your guy is meeting you.
