When we met our ticket issuer he was very knowledgeable and gave us all the details we needed and more! You do however need phone data/wi-fi for the audio guide.

Disappointing COLISEUM Tour

I am contacting Viator, we purchased the Skip the Line, Self guided audio tour which was very expensive($172) and disappointing. We didn't know where to go and where "skip the line" was suppose to meet. a The audio did not work for one of my friends either. For the tour we purchased and received, I should have bought #3 tickets for $72.

Our staff is present throughout the day to provide tickets and all information to customers who arrive, including how to use the audio guide. Secondly, you should have read the email we sent you the day before with the valid tickets for entry, which allowed you to enter the Colosseum directly, without going to the meeting point. The line you should skip is obviously the one to buy the ticket at the ticket office, having already paid for it and received it by email, and having the support of the staff at the meeting point. We understand how frustrating it is to lose your narration right at the start of your Colosseum experience. The thick stone walls of the Colosseum can sometimes cause cellular network drops, which can interrupt the digital guide stream. However, this is certainly not the experience we want for our guests.

A disaster!

This was the most disorganised tour we have ever been on. The tour guides did not arrive and it took 2 hours for them to find one. By this time more groups had arrived and our group of no more than 20 turned into 60. We had organised an early start to beat the heat of the day but instead followed the guide in our group of 60 from ticket box to ticket box to get our tickets. We ended up leaving the tour early as it was very poor and when we did there were only 10 people left out of the 60. We paid for 7 people and was the biggest waste of money and time unfortunately.
