Guide walked us to the entry line and was done. They told us how to use the app and that was it. This was not a tour at all.
The meeting point to find the tour guide was near the Pantheon. They were helpful in setting us up with an audio guide.
I will note — we bought tickets to skip the line that looked very long but I think waiting in line would have been about the same time as meeting with them and walking in (and you save some money). Otherwise no complaints.
We saw the long lines and were able to purchase the Skip the line tickets at the last minute. Definitely worth it and the audio guide was helpful.
Definitely do it. Viator made it so we were able to get a ticket even when they were sold out so we got to experience it when we may have otherwise missed out.
The guide is app based and there is no sinlgnal inside so I couldn't use it but I didnt mind too much
Need to know that the ticket redemption site is not directly in front of the Pantheon. 1/2 block away in a little square. The tour exchange guide helped get us our audio tour on our phones and escorted us to Pantheon doors so we could enter.
We feel very fortunate to have had the benefit of a wonderful tour guide in Christina. Her knowledge and passion made the whole experience one of the best guided tours we have been on. The tour of the Basilica Neptune before entering the Pantheon via a “secret” doorway was truly amazing. If you want to see a guided tour of the Pantheon, this is the tour to do.
This tour was great. Self guided audio tour, but tickets were timed entry so we avoided the long line. We booked through Viator, but Royals Routes was the tour company. Pradip was our contact. He was fantastic. He helped our group download the audio and even walked us to our entry point. This was the 3rd audio tour we used and by far the best. Maybe because it was all in one room that made it easy to follow. Great info on the audio.
The visit to the Pantheon was great, actually getting the entry ticket was ridiculous! Why don’t you just email the tickets rather than just a voucher which needs exchanging for tickets?
If you’d like to know more about the history of the Pantheon, I’d definitely recommend doing a guided tour. You get to enter through the side instead of the main entrance, and you have the chance to see parts of the building from different eras that you might otherwise miss. You also get to learn a lot about the history behind the building. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and did the tour at a really nice pace.
At the end of the tour, you finish at the Basilica, and you can spend as much time as you’d like inside without having to wait in line, which can get pretty long. Definitely worth it!

The Pantheon is one of the most impressive places I’ve visited in Rome. The architecture, history, and atmosphere are incredible, and standing inside feels like stepping back in time. A must-visit place for anyone coming to Rome. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹❤️

We had a great experience with Viator. And our host was a great help and we were late getting there.
We purchased these tickets, thinking we would get something more in-depth than buying directly from the Pantheon. We met a random man in a nearby square who WhatsApp'd us tickets and an audio guide and walked us over. Not worth it.

The two operator didn’t get the tickets to me until 15 or 20 minutes after the start date, which was a little annoying!!
This is just someone to push you in on the line. They give you a QR code to an audio tour but don't tell you if you don't save it before you get into the Pantheon you may not have any internet access
