- A current valid passport or photo ID document is required on the day of the tour for the entrance at the Colosseum
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Closed-toe, non-slip shoes are required for safety. Access to the Colosseum may be denied without proper footwear.
- The meeting point is in front of the Basilica dei Santi Cosma e Damiano - Via dei Fori Imperiali, 1 - Rome, Italy.
- Our tour guide will be waiting at the meeting point, holding an "Eyes of Rome" sign.
- The tour guide will leave 15 minutes after the time you booked. Arriving late to the meeting point, will be considered as a no-show.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 6 travelers

Our English guide was wonderful. Having the headsets really aided and being able to hear her. She was very knowledgeable. A fast paced tour with a lot of steps.
Really amazing tour, our guide Valeria was so knowledgeable and had lots of details and stories to share throughout the tour. She was able to answer questions and gave us such a rich history of the sites.
I really debated on doing a tour and which one, but am glad I did. I think there is tremendous value in doing this small group tour, it felt more intimate and personal. It was absolutely worth it for me in the end, despite the higher price tag.

It was an experience I’ll never forget. The images I saw and the things I learned will be etched in my mind until I am gone. It always helps to have a good tour guide and we had the best (Marina). She was as exceptional with her personality and her knowledge. I could listen to her talk all day. Her captivating blue eyes did t hurt either. She is the best.

The Forum and Colosseum tour was great! Having skip the line access to the colosseum was very nice. The guide did a nice job explaining the history as well as what we were looking at in the forum and colosseum. Going down to the floor of the colosseum and then to the upper level gave great views and perspective. Our guide was friendly, engaging, interesting, and knowledgeable!

The small group tour is the way to go. Much more intimate and able to ask more questions throughout the tour. You see larger groups around so this felt like a much more private tour. Michaela was amazing and so knowledgeable.

Changes were made to our tour but the Viator app didn’t apply those changes to our ticket that you have to download. The tour operator messaged us asking where we were but we were looking at a different time and meeting spot on our ticket and were late. Either way we lost the opportunity to visit the Colosseum after months of planning. Initially, it was reserved as the Colosseum Underground tour, but the tour provider messaged us a few months later saying there were no tickets available, even though it was reserved. The Viator representative did absolutely nothing to help us. I asked her to put us on another tour or give us back our money. None of that happened. If a tour company changes anything about your reservation or booking and you book it through Viator make sure the information from the tour company and Viator match. I still have an unused, 9:45 AM Colosseum underground ticket in my app. The tour company refused to reimburse me. On a positive note, everything else we have booked through Viator has been good. Just don’t call Customer Service for help.

We are very sorry for the experience you had and for the disappointment this caused.
We would like to clarify what happened. When changes are made to a booking, those updates are not always reflected on the voucher automatically generated by Viator, and unfortunately this is not something we can control directly. For this reason, whenever any detail changes, we communicate it through several channels: email, SMS, the booking platform messaging system, and, when available, WhatsApp. We also send a recap message the day before the tour with the final meeting point and timing.
In this case, the updated meeting point and tour time had been communicated through multiple channels, including several days before the tour. For that reason, the booking was considered a no-show and a refund was not issued.
That said, we are sincerely sorry for what happened and we do appreciate your feedback. We will continue reviewing how we communicate changes, especially when bookings are made through third-party platforms, so that future guests have the clearest possible information before their tour.
We hope to have the opportunity in the future to provide you with a better experience.
Our travel guide (cannot remember her name exactly, Gio or Dio) was wonderful. She made the experience a top notch tour. She was informative, had a wonderful personality, and made sure that we had a good time as well as an educational time.
I’m a believer in that the tour guide makes the tour and I would recommend this tour with Eyes of Rome to anyone who asks because of ours!

My husband is a huge history buff, and we both really appreciated all of the thorough information we got during our tour through the Roman Forum & Colosseum.
