Fun use of a Sunday night!

Very fun! I have done multiple walking tours and I have to say, this was a great mix of history and murder! I felt like every stop I would’ve walked past on my own had some backstory waiting to be unlocked in plain sight! Cathy our tour guide was amazing and you can tell she has a passion for teaching and English history. She was super receptive to questions. I’ve been on ghost tours where it feels more “theatrical” than educational, and I’m pleased to say this was not the case for this tour. Don’t get me wrong, she made sure to crack some jokes and projected her voice well, but it was well-aligned with the stories. I would certainly do this again.

Ideal introduction to London on the first day

The commentary from the captain was extremely good, even if he lacked the official tour guide title. It was both informative and (as you'd expect from a seaman) amusing at times. It was ideal for me to get my bearings on my first day in London. It may have been in the literature that you can hop-off, hop-back-on, but if so I overlooked it, and if I'd known I may have planned my time better. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the chance to explore Greenwich before the final stage of the cruise.

Our Tower of London visit was 1 of 3 places we visited on Friday August 14th. Our driver David picked us up at the hotel on time (pick up was confirmed the night before). He dropped us close by and gave us instructions on navigating the exhibits. Great experience. There is a lot to see within those walls.

If you are paired with Ben, you're going to have a great time. His knowledge of the neighborhood was first rate and he had many great stories to tell. The tour got better as it went on, particularly if you're interested in the music focus of it. The posting didn't quite allude to this as a "bar crawl" and it was only four stops (with a suggested half pint at each) but the tone was a little more drinking-oriented than expected so important to understand.

What a fantastic experience

What a fantastic experience! The Jack the Ripper Tour was fascinating, atmospheric and incredibly interesting from start to finish. Walking through the historic streets of Whitechapel and the East End really brought Victorian London to life. Our tour guide Nick was knowledgeable, engaging and a brilliant storyteller, explaining the history and mystery surrounding Jack the Ripper in a way that kept everyone interested throughout. I particularly enjoyed learning about Victorian London, the locations connected to the case, and the different theories surrounding the identity of Jack the Ripper. The guide balanced the darker history with interesting facts about what life was actually like in the East End during the 1880s.

This is my 4th trip to London and I’ve always checked out the sites during the day. Riding around at night brings a different feel to seeing the city. Everything is lit up and magical. The guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed the 1.5 hr tour. Keep in mind that this is not a hop on hop off type tour. You will stay on the bus the whole time. It’s a great way to ride around and take in the sites at night.

Our family and friends...

Our family and friends enjoyed our ghost tour of London. George was an excellent tour guide. He included the perfect blend of history and spooky tales and did a fantastic job of making it all interesting through his delivery. He was also very knowledgeable and took many questions from the group. We loved walking through the city and seeing many of the sites we otherwise would have missed. We highly recommend this tour.

"Kat"tastic tour :)

Kat gave us an amazing journey through the dark history of the streets of London. She was extremely knowledgeable and was a great storyteller. I walk with a cane and it takes me a while to walk. This tour allowed me to take my time and I didn't feel rushed. Kat even helped us find the correct underground to get us back to our hotel at the end of our tour. If you're a history buff, you'll love this tour. It's not so much about ghosts (though there references to them) it's more about the atrocities of early England and the monarchy.

Wow, London during golden hour!

It was a wonderful tour with Emma, she was the quintessential London tour guide! She knew all of the history and fun facts and sprinkled in her own experiences too. A sign from the dead!

Tom was a ton of fun and had great ghost stories! Along the way you hit amazing sites with Easter eggs of history that are very off the beaten path. The icing on the cake for our tour was that a London light drizzle during the unfortunate tale of Margaret Pole produced a rainbow over the Tower of London! (I’m sure ole Maggie was saying hey!!)
