Per one customer who booked the Sherlock Holmes Walking Tour in London, "Steph was inviting, informative, and inspiring! We had a total blast exploring the streets of London and finding the places that breathed reality into the world's most favorite fictional detective. I loved how there were locations from so many different versions of Sherlock, from the books to the shows to the movies. I also learned a lot about how scenes are shot and created. I recommend this tour to anyone of any level of fan."

Before booking London TV tours, read descriptions carefully to understand what locations are covered—most are based in and around the streets of London, but some take you further afield to places like Oxford and Hampshire for Downton Abbey filming locations. Consider whether you want a walking tour, private taxi tour, or group coach trip, and book as early as possible, especially for tours visiting locations outside London, like Highclere Castle.

Wear comfortable walking shoes since most tours involve several hours of strolling through different streets and neighborhoods. Come prepared with questions about your favorite show—your guide will be an enthusiast and enjoy sharing behind-the-scenes stories and filming secrets that aren't available online. Also, don't be shy about chatting with fellow fans on group tours; sharing theories and favorite moments makes the experience more enjoyable for everyone.
