Amazing experience of ancient Egypt and its pyramids

The tour we took was amazing, Mohammed was an excellent guide who was exceptionally knowledgeable on the sites that we visited…and had even dug at them as well which added to the knowledge and as an archaeologist myself it was great to listen to his talks on the monuments. We had previously been recommended to visit the Serapeum at Saqqara by another tour guide and Mohammed agreed to add it to the tour, we just paid the difference and it was amazing. The bent pyramid and red pyramid were also great, even the tunnels to the interiors were exciting and less busy than the ones at the pyramids of Giza the day before (still hot tho). The travelling around was done well and the ac in the car was an added bonus. We had forgotten the tour included a trip to Memphis to an open air museum which was great (prepare to haggle) and it was finished with a rather late but rewarding lunch back in Giza overlooking the pyramids. Overall amazing experience and would happily recommend!

We did a private full day tour, and Amina was great! VERY knowledgeable about Giza, pyramids and other sites we visited (Memphis, etc). She offered other options along the way without being pushy, and let us determine the pace of the day. She happily took some really interesting pictures of us during the tour, and was really personable and engaging. Really loved her energy and experience. Included buffet lunch was great. Words cannot express the wonderful time I had on my tour today with Hamada! What a great guy! As a solo traveler, I was a bit worried going so far out of Cairo area, but from the pick up at hotel to the drop off, I was assured it would be a great and safe time! The Private Tour to Whales Valley & Wadi El Rayan Waterfalls in El Fayoum IS A MUST! The 4x4 ride was so much fun, learning about the fossils and walking through the dessert and ending with a great traditional lunch at a Glamp site was the cherry on top. I loved the experience! I absolutely enjoyed spending time in the boat, having Khaled as a tour guide and visiting all these magnificent places! The boat was clean and well maintained, the staff responded to any requests promptly, and they even organised a mini birthday celebration for my friend! Everything was great. The only thing is that on the last day instead of prioritising visiting the sights our tour guide took us to visit some overpriced shops, which was fine because it gave me an opportunity to buy souvenirs for my friends and family, but I would prefer to finish visiting all the sights first, and then go shopping. As a result we weren’t given enough time to visit the last temple because we had to rush back home as one of the people on our tourgroup had the bus to catch. Another thing is that on the same day we were taken to a super overpriced restaurant for lunch, we didn’t have a say in choosing the restaurant, the food there was mediocre, we weren’t even given a menu to order, and the end price turns out to be extremely expensive! The food we got definitely wasn’t worth it and it’s a bit upsetting as we trusted our tour guide (probably he gets a commission or something from this restaurant). However, I absolutely loved the personality of our tour guide, so can forgive him this :) as I already said, I absolutely loved the whole experience, and can’t wait to go back! I’m already planning to bring my husband on the same trip! All thanks to Khaled and the amazing boat crew;)

A fantastic day. My guide (Ibrahim) was extremely knowledgeable and helped piece together the history of the area. As a solo traveller I found it all very relaxed and timed perfectly.
