I couldn’t have asked for a better guide than Mimo! He studied Egyptology for years, and is so knowledgeable about history, architecture, tradition, and culture of Egypt - from ancient civilizations to modern day. He was communicative, prompt, and gave very clear instructions, and was very transparent about what was and wasn’t included in the tour, which made it easy to navigate the many different stops. Between the pyramids and lunch, there were many stops at local businesses you could make to learn about papyrus making, kartoush jewelry, spices, Egyptian cotton products, and essential oils and perfumes. At no point did it feel like a tourist trap nor was I pressured to make a purchase. Though I did end up with some excellent souvenirs and gifts for family and friends. I hope anyone interested in coming to Cairo makes a point to book a tour with Mimo! Our driver Emad was also prompt, professional, and kept my belongings safe while I toured the various stops.

This was our first time To Egypt and this experience made us feel so safe which was a top priority. The private car, an amazing guide named Michael!, knowledge and flexible with our time. Every moment was thought out and we had an amazing time! We went to the pyramids and I’m so glad we had the choice to enter the pyramids or not before tickets were bought. We then went to both the oils and papyrus store, lunch was truly incredible (mind you we are picky New Yorkers), and the grand Egyptian museum - we learned with our guide and received personal time to roam. Truly an amazing experience! I highly recommend it!

We had a great experience. Zeinab was a very knowledgeable guide and she made our trip special. She let us proceed at our own pace and we never felt rushed. Ashraf the driver was a perfect gentleman and made us feel safe

The tour is truly amazing! My guide was Saso and she was absolutely great in guiding me through the Giza plateu and then the GEM. I had an amazing time and would highly reccommend it to anyone.
Pick up and drop off were spot on thanks to the driver Peter. Car was comfortable with A/C.

Would recommend the excursion - Hagar is an excellent tour guide, with excellent English and a degree in Egyptology. She has made the tour of the Gaza pyramids and the GEM super informative and interesting. Buffet lunch was good with plenty of choices. We arrived a bit early which was good in hindsight as it got busy later. I only chose to visit 2 shops - essential oils and jewellery. Would recommend the oils shop - very pleasant detour with ladies there very pleasant and a perfect place for a refreshments. I was impressed with various pure oils so bought some. In the jewellery shop it was not my thing - I didn't buy anything and that was fine too. The driver was very helpful and on the way back we stopped in the District of art galleries, recommended to me.

Amazing tour planned with excellent guide Michael
He was professional well versed and like a brother too.

Moshi was attentive, knowledgeable, very personable and helped my 80 year old mom ever step of our tour. She answered all our questions and provided us with great information. She made our first day and time in Cairo great. Also she helped us book another tour. She was wonderful!
I did not give the 5 stars because the tour description said pyramids and museum. However we ended up visiting a spice, papyrus, and essence/perfumes shops where we were sold using very persuasive tactics very expensive and over priced products. I would recommend to disclose these stops to give the customer the choice. Being a person that feels the pressure to buy after tasting products and listening to lengthy explanations; we ended up spending a lot more than we planned on things that are not necessarily and as I said highly overpriced.
That being said, I highly recommend the tour and sweet Moshi.

Our tour guide and driver were both professional and accommodating. The Pyramids and Sphinx were awe inspiring and the camel ride was truly a once and a life event. I loved the stop to learn about Egypt culture and industries such as Parfums, essential oils and jewelry making specific to Egypt. When I travel, I embrace the attributes of the particular culture that I am
Visiting and never project my United States experience onto my travel experiences. Each citizen of the world is unique and different. These differences spark my curiosity and desire to see more and learn more. Thank you to my tour company for providing such opportunity. God Bless, Caroline, Norris, Angelina, Joseph, Taylor and Chase.

Our guide Zeneb was lovely. She and our driver picked us up at our hotel and she gave excellent proactive communication. As we drove to the pyramids, she told us about modern day Cairo and pointed out points of interest along the way. We were still quite jet lagged so Zeneb gave us an easy pace. She gave us interesting facts about the pyramids and the sphinx, made sure we felt no pressure to purchase anything from the shops we visited, and even gave us a small gift. She also was very knowledgeable about the museum. She even offered to help us if we needed anything through out the rest of our travels. It was a delightful overview.
Rani_B, Jun 2026
The guide was very nice. He told us the necessary facts and gave us a tour to the pyramids and the museum. However, it felt sometimes there was a lack of energy or passion. We did not go up close to the Sfinx and did not spend a lot of time at the pyramids. In the museum, he did not join us in every room and gave us one hour or free time while he was in the coffee shop. So we had to listen to other guided explaining to their groups. After the pyramids, we were taken by the guide from one tourist trap to another; “ real aromatherapy” and the “only real papyrus institute” (while all buildings say it) - all set-up to get money from tourists. You get some info and afterwards you are basically being forced to buy something for a high price. This felt forced, not like we gained an experience but like we lost money. The tour was better then the arranged one from our hotel so I would recommend but just prepare this is the situation over there in Caïro as it is very tourist focused.

The tour was excellent! I couldn’t have asked for a better tour. Islam was our guide and he was super knowledgeable and kind. He took us to an amazing perfume/oil store and I wish I would have purchased more. My husband is getting so many compliments.
The pyramids were amazing and Islam took the best pictures. Would definitely book again

A full day private tour of the ancient Egypt, well presented with respect to the nature. Mahmoud Hoka, our tour guide was well educated, knowledgeable, friendly, and a great photographer, while our driver was efficient and careful on the crazy roads of Cairo. We started with a peaceful camel ride around the panorama of Giza, then walked through the great pyramids and the sphinx with lots of storytelling regarding the monuments. We took a break by having a buffet lunch in a very nice restaurant before we head to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. It is simply incredible, our guide Mahmoud knowing that we could not see it all in the time we had available offered to show us the highlights and he did an excellent job. My wife & I highly recommended this tour and feel it was completely worth it.
David_S, Jun 2026
My guide Mahmoud did a wonderful job of leading me on a tour of the pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza. He offered the right amounts of history and practical advice.
Davier_R, Jun 2026
Islam and Imam were excellent guides. Islam is exceptionally knowledgeable, thoughtful, and focused on facts. He also did a great job keeping us on schedule without making the experience feel rushed. My partner and I felt safe and respected by him. Also lunch was buffet style and very tasty. We appreciated Islam's candid insights and would gladly recommend him.
Brad_K, Jun 2026
A very thorough tour of Giza. Robir was a wonderful guide and made the tour a very smooth, safe, and informative experience. Would love to do it again some day. 10/10!
Santina_L, Jun 2026
Islam was an amazing guide and the tour was amazing and informative
the pyramids have a new system so it has less scams. Very little harassment that we had been warned about
And it’s a good traditional lunch
Interesting visit to a perfumery . There was little pressure to buy although we did .
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for this wonderful 5-star review! We're so glad Islam made your day amazing and informative.
It's great to hear your positive comments about the new system at the Pyramids — it really has made a difference in reducing hassle and allowing guests to enjoy the experience more peacefully. We're also happy the traditional lunch hit the spot and that the perfumery visit was interesting without feeling pressured. That's exactly the relaxed, optional experience we aim for.
We'll be sure to share your kind words with Islam. We hope to welcome you back to Egypt again soon!
Warm regards,

Today we had Fatima as our wonderful and amazing guide. I have been on dozens of tours all over the world and I can without a doubt say this was the most special and it was thanks to her. She was extremely knowledgeable and each and every one of her stories or points was very intriguing. She felt like a friend to myself and my partner for the day and we had many laughs about all sorts of things. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her as a guide and was sad that our day was over. She was also an incredible photographer and captured so many amazing moments for us. Thank you for the amazing day Fatima.
From: Your Irish and American friend
P.s our driver was efficient and was waiting for us at the end of each part of the tour!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you so much for this incredibly heartfelt 5-star review — and what a lovely title! Reading your words truly made our day.
For someone who has been on dozens of tours around the world to call this the most special one — that's the highest compliment we could ever receive, and it's a testament to how extraordinary Fatima truly is. Her knowledge, warmth, humor, and photography skills all come together to create the kind of experience that stays with you long after the day is over.
We'll be sure to share your beautiful message with Fatima — we know she'll miss her Irish and American friends too! Our driver also appreciates your kind words.
You're always welcome back in Egypt — Fatima will be here waiting to pick up right where you left off!
Warm regards,

Our hosts Bohir (referred to as Bob) and Peter the driver were exceptional - Bob was extremely knowledgeable on Egyptian history and could share his insights over the course of the day. Lunch was great - a restaurant close to the pyramids, specifically catering for travellers. Overall, to have a dedicated driver and tour guide and lunch included - for the price we paid, was ridiculously great value. Highly recommend it.

We spent a delightful day with Mimo and Eşref. Mimo is an absolutely charming guide who conveys ancient knowledge regarding the history of the region through a captivating narrative. I will be sending you your analog photo! :)

This experience is a must when in Cairo, the pyramids are the centerpiece of the history sightseeing and the new Museum of Egypt offers a great view of the history, culture and times of Old Egypt. Also, our tour-guide Fatma was amazing, combining the knowledge and interesting stories with some great humor that kept us engaged and curious to explore all that the sites had to offer.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for such a generous review! Fatma will be delighted to hear that her stories and humor kept you engaged — finding that balance between scholarship and warmth is exactly what we ask of every Egyptologist on our team. We're glad the pyramids and GEM delivered on everything you came for, and we'd love to welcome you back to discover more of Egypt one day.

Excellent private guided 8 hour tour to the Pyramids and GEM. Additional free time at the GEM. Lunch was very good.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you! We're delighted the pyramids and GEM both lived up to expectations — building in extra time at the museum lets guests explore at their own pace, which is exactly how we like it. Glad lunch hit the mark too, and we hope to welcome you back to Egypt one day.

We got lucky — our tour guide was Mr. Nour. He truly lives up to the title, thanks to his deep knowledge of history and culture (he’s a university lecturer).
When booking, I asked the company to send a knowledgeable guide, and voilà!
Thank you, mate, for organizing everything so smartly and helping us avoid the crowds and the heat. By the way, he’s also a great photographer — I’ll share some of his shots below.
See you in Georgia, Nour! 🇬🇪
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much — and what a kind shout-out for Nour. He brings serious credentials to every tour (a university lecturer on a pyramid plateau is exactly the kind of guide we love putting with curious travelers), and reading the heat and the crowds the way he does is something only years on the sites teach. Glad we could deliver on the guide you asked for at booking, and we'll make sure he sees your photos. Until Georgia, safe travels home 🇬🇪
