Mahmoud is the best guide there is for the great Pyramids and great egyptian museum tours.
He is very confident with what he does, he speaks English fluently, he answers questions on what you need to know.
He shares his wealth of knowledge regarding the Pyramids and GEM.
He communicated with us a night before and the morning of the tour.
Again, he is the best.

I can’t thank this tour enough for such an amazing experience in Cairo! Our guide was very transparent about what to expect, allowed for us to go at our own speed throughout the day, and was easy to chat with. It was very private, just us four the entire time plus our guide (Zenab) and the driver. The transfer vehicle was luxury, leather seats, roomy, and the cool air was great after walking in the heat. She really helped us understand the tipping culture throughout the whole process and never pressured us to buy anything… which was great! I wish we had more time in the museum, I could have spent the entire day in there, but the amount of time at the pyramids and the extra Egyptian specialty places are great. At first we were worried they were a “got cha” but they truly weren’t… we never felt pressured and enjoyed the experiences. The papyrus place was educational and we bought tons of arts. The driver was safe and talented… if you haven’t been to Cairo driving there is basically an Olympic sport. I will be recommending this to anyone looking to see the ancient wonder of the world.
Mimo was an amazing guide! We enjoyed a full day of exploring at our own pace. Mimo was so efficient getting us to and from where we wanted to be, and he was happy to tailor the tour to our interests. Highly recommend!

It is very well planned day visiting the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. All are a must see in Giza. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Zenab. He was very caring and took wonderful care of us.

I had a very good tour with our tour guide Eslam. He is very knowledgeable and takes good pictures at all the tour spots. He will tell you ahead of time which side has better views and what to see. I’ve learned a lot of about Egypt history from him. He is very professional and attentive, highly recommend him if you could choose your guide.
Our guide, Robir, was outstanding. He was informative, cordial, punctual, accomodating, and overalll a 100% tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the pyramids area, the GEM, and the lunch pick at a local restaurant was superb. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend this tour, and specifically our guide Robir.

Guide was not communicative and did not explain the history well. She did not accompany us to all Pyramids, and was short of explaining the history. We feel Viator should have screened the guide properly. Disappointed.

I highly recommend seeing the pyramids this way! We had both a private driver and an experienced certified tour guide, Mahmoud, who provided not only his knowledge of the pyramids but pointed out other sites of interest & explained the daily life & culture of Cairo’s inhabitants. They worked on our time & took us to the museum, a nice buffett lunch spot and back safely to our hotel. We were not rushed. This tour made the day stress free and enhoyable and is well worth the money.
Fatima was very friendly and funny! Lots of knowledge about Egypt and everything else! Think she do astrology, in the side! Just saying….

Fatma lead us on a wonderful tour and provided so much knowledge. She welcomed our questions and curiosity and is an expert on the subject matter. Fatma is also an excellent advisor on the best spots for photos and took fantastic pictures and panoramic videos of us with our own phones for convenience. I highly recommend this tour and specifically Fatma Mohamed as a guide.
Our guide was late. He took us to a few places that were tourist scams. He was rushing through some of the spots just to get the day done.
Karam was an excellent guide and we loved every minute, from start to finish. It's a tour that everyone should do and can't recommend it enough. Book the camel ride too!!
This tour is not a private tour of the pyramids and the grand Egyptian Museum. While these stops are included, they are merely a segway from the actual purpose of the tour which is to whisk you away from the pyramids into the gritty underworld of egyptian scammers disguised s a tour guide and her merry band of government employed shopkeeper scammers. We tried to shift the details of our tour to include Coptic Cairo drive by, but we were told we "Had No time". Yet we were delivered to a perfume and fragrance shop, which conveniently "mixed up" or orders so as not to include certain, more costly oils, and replace, while out of eyesight, with cheap baby oil. Then, on to the papyrus factory, run by more government employees, selling painting, then of course, you can't leave out the jewelry and trinkets shop selling only Egyptian made and authentic souvenirs. What a scam! Viator should drop this immediately.

Our tour with Fatima was truly one of the highlights of our entire trip to Egypt and an experience my wife and I will never forget!
From the very beginning, everything was seamless. We were picked up right on time and spent an incredible day exploring the Pyramids, enjoying a camel ride, and visiting the Grand Egyptian Museum. Since the tour was private and just the two of us, Fatima made the entire experience feel personal, relaxed, and incredibly special.
Fatima also took us to some unique local shops where we learned how traditional papyrus paintings are made and had a fascinating presentation about Egyptian oils. We enjoyed the experience so much that we ended up purchasing some oils to take home with us.
Lunch was at a buffet restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious with plenty of great options.
One thing that really sets Fatima apart is her incredible talent for taking photos and videos. She knows exactly how to use an iPhone to capture amazing angles and moments. Some of the photos she took of us at the Pyramids are so incredible that we plan on having them printed and framed!
Beyond being extremely knowledgeable and experienced, Fatima was warm, personable, attentive, and has a fantastic sense of humour. We shared plenty of laughs throughout the day, which made the experience even more enjoyable. She genuinely cared about making our day memorable, never made us feel rushed, and made sure we enjoyed every part of the experience.
We honestly could not have asked for a better tour. Everything exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. If you are visiting Cairo and want an unforgettable experience, Fatima is the gold standard for Egyptian tour guides. We would recommend her without hesitation. 10/10!
One important tip completely unrelated to Fatima: Do not bring Meta smart glasses/sunglasses on these tours. They are strictly forbidden at the attractions, so it is best to leave them at your hotel rather than risk having an issue when entering.
I booked the service in Portuguese and confirmed this information via chat; however, they assigned us a good guide, but who spoke Spanish (meaning I was misled by the company). Furthermore, they took us to shops of their choosing that were not on the itinerary, coercing us into buying products at MUCH higher-than-market prices, and worse, wasting time that we should have spent exploring more of the Museum. I paid to experience the attractions, not to be taken on shopping stops. And lastly, they made us pay for the driver's admission ticket, which was not included in the contract. Resume: Good staff, not trust company.
Highly recommend Manar Atwa! She provided an exceptionally educational tour of the Giza Pyramids and the new museum. Her knowledge of Egyptian history is fantastic, and she made navigating both sites smooth and informative. A wonderful guide who really enhanced my entire experience!

We paid for a private tour that was more expensive than the others, and had great reviews, to make sure our experience in egypt was memorable. We have travelled 60+ countries, and this is a country we have been dreaming to visit since we were both kids. The guide was awful, his name is nour zaki. If you get assigned to him, make sure you ask to change before the tour !! Very rude, rushed us between monuments, and stepped infront of us when we were trying to take pictures. He was insistent in trying to convince us not to go inside the pyramids, so that he wouldn't wait outside. Spoke really quickly, and in a difficult to understand english. I asked a question about the pyramids, and he told me : I already told you that. Desagreable and disrespectful, he looked like he didnt want to be there. While driving, never explained the city either, completely ignored us, and was speaking on the phone all the way along, which was hours. Maybe the agency is good, but do make sure to ask before the day who is your guide. If its him, ask immediately to change, as he will spoil your experience and souvenir of egypt.
