Great tour for those interested in WWll.

Gail_M, Dec 2025
A tour that touches on a different part of Italy's history. Some background leading up to WWll, Italy's participation in the war and includes some post WWll information. Our guide didn't mention the "stepping stones" found in Rome. These brass cobblestones are in memory of those lost in the Holocaust and are placed were they were taken.

Thank you for your kind review Gail. We are so happy you enjoyed the tour! Enjoy the rest of your holiday in Rome

Best WWII Tour in Rome

Corina_C, Oct 2025
Wonderful tour of Rome while discussing the origins of the fascist era and Italys part in World War II. James was an excellent tour guide. Swapping between intermediate and expert knowledge. Answered questions and brought us to extra places depending on interest. Highly recommend.

Response from Host, Oct 2025

Ciao! Many thanks for your kind words. We are so glad you enjoyed the tour with James. His knowledge on the war and it's impact on Rome, and Italy as a whole, is simple unmatched. He could easily be hosting his own TV show on the subject. We hope to see you guys back in Rome soon. Safe travels!
